How much Formula is your 8 month old drinking?

I'm curious as to approximately how much formula are 8 month olds supposed to be drinking with 3 small solid meals a day?

I know theres a math formula on how to work it out but can't remember... it has to with the babies weight and multipling something?? lol Does anyone know?

my daughter drinks 4 8oz bottles a day and 3 meals :)

my son takes his bottle only a couple of times a day. I started putting it in his sippy and offering it at meal times but i think as long as he has well rounded meals its not a big deal. my daughter gave up on her bottle early too. once they have that food they dont want that yucky formula! LoL

My son has 4 bottles a day 7 oz each...and three meals a day....i found this chart for feedings and from birth to a year old a baby is supposed to get 20-32 oz of milk a day....but as he or she gets older you just change the amount of bottles you give and amount of milk in each bottle....in the beginning it's about 5 or 6 bottles a day with 4 or 5 oz in each and then around 7 months you cut back to 3 or 4 bottles a day with 7 to 8 oz......I got this chart from very good source too...hope it helps....

I'VE NEVER HEARD THAT BUT MY SON EATS FOOD THROUGH OUT THE DAY BUT DRINKS 6OZ OF MILK MORNIN AND NIGHT AND 30Z WITH FOOD. IF ITS A DINNER OR VEGGIE HE DRINKS 4OZ O JUICE FOR HIS SERVING OF FRUIT BUT HE LOVES FRUIT MELODY BY GERBER

My 8 month old is 18 lbs, He is eating 4 or 5 seven oz bottles per day, with 3 small meals. Morning bottle - Brunch - Lunch Bottle - Snack - Dinner Bottle - Snack - Bedtime bottle... he's usually awake from 8am-9pm.... Hope that helps a little...
