hey i was just wondering if there are any others out there that feeds their baby only on the jars of baby food? mixtures of hipp, cow and gate, hinz and organics plus deserts and the baby juices they make plus fruitpots and baby fingerfood?

why do i feel like the only one that has her baby on a full jar diet ?

I have a 3 yr old and 7mo old. We have never made the food. Jars are so convenient. Although we never tried, making the food seems so much more difficult and time consuming.

By full jar diet do you mean that you don't give any breastmilk or formula? I give my lo babyfood, but only one or two times a day. She is ebf otherwise, she loves milk too much!

You are not the only one. All of my babies have done jar food. I only know a few people who have made their own. With 3 kids and keeping two others during the day I do not have time to be making food, even though I think it would be great if I could.

I gave jars for the 1st week or so of weaning then i made my own as i liked to know what im giving him. i had to use jars why i was on holiday for a few days. i take a jar of pud out with me in day incase he gets hungry. i keep jars in as some times i will mix it with the food i make so it not as dry. it is up to you if you use jars my health vistors and stay weigh and play people are againt jars as they as there not alot of goodness in them so i think that oushed alot of people round me to do there own. jars are made for bablies to provide them with what they need. i surpose it the same argument as breastfeeding yes it best but formula is the next best thing so i think it same with jars. just do what you think is right for you and urbaby

I've only fed my LO on Gerber and Earth's Organic. It just seems so much easier. She loves to eat. She normally eats 2 jars at a time. I wanted to make my own food but it just seems like so much work. You have to wash the the fruit/veggie, steam it, peel it, smash it, freeze it. And when ready to eat, you have to microwave it. I always look out for sales or coupon deals on the food. Then I stock up on them. Do whatever is easiest for you =)
