My son was born 15th jan and he has been teething for the last 3months. no teeth as yet which got me thinking... He has a pacifier and the different myths about pacifiers started to enter my head- if babys have pacifiers there teeth grown in squint etc etc so which brings me to ask the question! Does your LO have a pacifier and if so does you LO have any teeth yet??Im just curious to no could the pacifier be affecting the growth of his teeth.

my baby uses a pacifier, mostly naptimes and bedtimes, and she got 2 teeth in the same weekend and is now working on a 3rd. I also read an article that babies should have pacifiers at sleeptimes bc it helps reduce the risk of SIDS. But, in my personal opinion if babies wanna suck on something whether it be a pacifier or a thumb they will find something to suck on and when the time comes its much easier to get rid of a pacifier rather than a thumb.

My daughter was born the 23rd and she has also been teething about that long. She doesn't use a pacifier though and she still doesn't have any teeth.

My son is teething and I actually think his pacifier keeps him haha pacified. :) Without a pacifier he chews on his thumb and fingers so I prefer the pacifier to the red and chapped fingers.

My 6 month old uses a paci and she has 2 perfectly fine teeth. That is just a myth. You only have to worry about permanent teeth not baby teeth.

my daughter is 6months she hasnt had a dummy since she was 2months an she has no teeth yet so i dont think it makes a difference if they have one or not

my baby has a pacifier. she like to go to sleep with it. no teeth as yet. i don't think that influences the teething process...
