hello, just wondering if any one eles periods have returned? i really only stoped bleeding for a week and just think it is weird as i am breast feeding my son and didnt expect them to come back so soon after birth as i didnt get them back for a few months when i breast fed my daughter.... any thoughts on this?

I bled for about 4 weeks pp and then just started bleeding again a couple days ago. I'm pretty sure its my period because Ive had cramps, mood swings, etc..but I am a fully breast feeding mommy? Pretty strange..I didn't expect it yet either!

I'm 6 weeks postpartum and still havent gotten mine. I'm not breastfeeding. I only bled for about 2 1/2 weeks after having my daughter.

When I had my daughter I bled for 7 weeks post partum skipped a week and then another week of bleeding thinking it was a period. Then I had nothing till my daughter was 7 months old. It may just be post partum bleeding still. Since my son was born mine was off and on stopping for 10 days then starting till it finally stopped at 5 weeks. I read somewhere you can bleed up to 10 weeks off and on post partum.

With my first daughter, I only breastfed through the 3rd week. But by the end of that week, I had stopped bleeding from having her, was still BF, and got my period. With this one, I breastfed for about 2 weeks, but have had on and off spotting for the last week and am pretty sure that is still from having this baby (I'm only 3 weeks post). My first pregnancy was a disaster. I lost the babies, but also bled from December 1st through Feb 28th afterward. A week later, I got my period.
In my experience, every time is pretty different.

i have just had my first baby and i am breastfeeding she is a little over 6 weeks when and if do u get ur period while u breastfeed???

I still havn't gotten mine yet and I havn't been breastfeeding and my son is almost a month old. But i've heard that women usually get their periods shortly after they stop breastfeeding. So im curious too...
