urticaria (hives) and allergies how to cope when cant find whats causing it

my son is 14 months and since the queensland floods he has devoloped atopic eczema which could only be put down to someting the floods brought through now his breaking out in hives everytime he sleeps in the afternoon never any other time the doctors have put it down to an alleric reaction after trying to break it down and still cant find whats causing it is there anything else i can do to find whats causing it? and wondering how other mums cope with having a child with allergies?

didnt mke it for a sleep there fell asleep while shopping but nothing not a mark on him changing his meals to me making them up again

That is really curious! It'll be interesting to see how he goes at his grandparents place!

his sleeping in the same room both times but doesnt come up with them when he wakes in the morning taking him to sleep at his grand parents tomorrow afternoon to try and narrow it down if not taking him back to the doctors

Have you had any allergy testing done? Can they prescribe phenergan? Is he sleeping in the same room afternoon and night?
Hope it all works out, doesn't sound like fun!!
