What size is your 6 month old wearing?

my baby was born 4 weeks early 5.4 lbs and 18 inches. now he's 4 months and weighing 17 lbs! he's length is 26 inches. he's now wearing 9 month old clothes, sometimes he uses 6-9 but depends on the brand. so prolly he might wearing 9-12 or 12 month old clothes for his 6 month!

My daughter just turned 7 months and is about 15lbs and 25 inches long and wears 6months clothing. She also wears 3-6 months clothing too. She mostly wears Carters 6 months cause some 3-6 month clothes are too small. 6 months are a little big on her but I don't have a choice. She was born at 6lbs15oz and 18 inches long. Still have a tiny baby.

Henry was born on January 22nd and he weighs over 20 pounds. He's in the 90th percentile. He wears size 12 months and sometimes 18 months. My other son weighed 20 pounds when he was one year old!

my daughter wears 6 to 9 or sometimes even 12 months. but since im german i wonder if american babies r way smaller than european cause those clothes r sooo tinny. i know eva is not really super skinny but i thought im nuts when i had to buy her 12 months pyjamas already hihi

my son will be 7 months on the 17th and weighs almost 24 pounds and is 29 inches. He wears some 6 month clothes but mainly 6-9mo clothes and nothing smaller than 9 month bottoms... my boys got some CHUBBY legs!!!

My son Dominick is 21 lbs. 5 ozs. 28 inches long. He has a very long upper body so he wears 9-12 month clothes and even then some are short for his mid-section.

My daughter is 7 months old tomorrow and she is 20 pounds 8 ounces and is 28.5 inches long. She is in most things 9 months but in others 12 months. She needs all her sleepers in 12 months because she is so long.

My son is 6.5 months old, 27inches and only 16.3lbs tall and skinny so he needs 6/9 month pants, he can still fit in his 6month onsies (some) shorts he is wearing 3 month cuz his waist is so small.. his PJ's are all 9 month and they are pushing too small but 12 month is way too big.. awesome.. wish it were hot at night so he didn't have to worry bout PJ's..

My son was born at 5lbs.0oz and is now 6 and half months he is now 15 lbs. and depending on how the stuff is maid wears 3 month clothes or 12 month clothes. the 6 to 9 month stuff seems to big while the 12 month old clothes fit perfect in the waist. I also have a pair of jeans for him marked 0-3 month and just now fitting him. I think it just depends on how it is made and what brand it is. lol. I am so ammused at how so much of this stuff fits the right way or not. I have on him today an outfit that fits him perfect and it is marked 12 mo. I bought him som other shorts outfits marked 6-9 and they are way to big in the waist. lol.

My daughter is almost 16lbs and 25.5 inches, she is wearing 0-3 on the bottom and 3-6 on top, her waist is tiny and everything falls off, some 6-12 old navy tops fit, but are big still

My son just turned 6 months old on July 31 2010 but he can still wear some 0-3 month onesies and most of his 3-6 months clothes. SOme 6 month clothing is wayyy too big and some is a little too big and most fit just right. But 6-9 month clothing can forget it, I feel like most of that age range is meant more towards the 9 month side. haha

my daughter is just a week over 6mo and shes 15lbs7oz and she wears 9-12mo onesies but her pajamas are for 6-9. weird how that works. I think it mostly depends on the brand bc the gerber onesies are way to small for her month size. :)

My daughter was 6 months on the 11th. She is all over the place in sizes. IT depends on the store. But some of her cloths are 3-6 mons, 9 mons, 12 mons, a few 18 mons, and her bathing suits are size 2 and fit her pretty good. She is currently 21 lbs, 4 oz. Was 9lbs, 6oz at birth.

Last weigh in my daughter was 20lb 1oz. She is fitting some 6-9 but depends where we buy it. 9-12 / 12-18 in Tesco, 9-12 matalan.

Whenever I am out buying for her I always look for the nxt size up becoz she won't get much out of 6-9's.

Mine wears some 18month(a really cute sketchers outfit) ,12month, 6-9month, and very seldom some of her 0-3 and 3-6 month old clothes. Have no clue how much she weighs now but at 4months she weighted in at 16lbs.8oz. and 23 1/2 inches long. I've tried the 6-9month old pants and it makes her look like she's waiting for a flood to come through!! The pant legs are so short on her now..lol I get most of my clothes at a children's consignment sale(over half the clothes there are practically brand new and cheap too!) and some garage sales and amazingly the clothes aren't stained.

My son is 20 pounds 15 ounces and 29 inches long. Most of his clothes are 12 months but he still has a few shirts that are nine months. He also has some outfits that are 18 months! It is crazy!

My son will be 6 months on the 3rd, and he's in 12 month clothing. We buy carter's clothing for the most part. He's 21 pounds and 30 inches long, and he was born at 38 weeks and was 9 pounds 21 inches :)

My daughter is 6 1/2 months, she is just over 8kg and is 69cm in length (around the 75% mark) She is wearing 0's but we have only just moved her into that that size and they are pretty roomy, I hate it when they start to look a bit squished in their clothes. Yes I def agree, clothes vary far too much in size, why they can't just have standard sizing is beyond me! It would make life a lot easier.

My son is going to be 7months on the 5th and weighs 19.6lbs and is 28in. He wears 3-6 months and 6-9 months in clothing. I started putting on sum 12months summer clothes (since he turns 1 in Jan his 12months summer clothes aren't going to fit next summer) on him and some fit him and some are HUGE. I guess wit just depends on the material of the clothing

Its been a while since my little guy was last weighed/measured...We're due for his 6 mths check next week. At the 4mth checkup he was 18oz./27 in...I do know his growth hasn't slowed much and we are well over 20lbs. He has been in 12-18mth old clothes since almost 4mths (they were big on him then, but some brands fit him better- I find Carter's runs smaller). We are now fitting perfectly into all the different assortment of brands right now, give or take a little- but will be soon moving out of this size bracket I fear...GAP brand I find runs bigger. The one piece outfits are almost done- I find doing the two pieces is easiest to stretch the clothes for as long as possible (however it is hard to keep our belly covered and not up to our armpits at this age) I had a hard time finding onesies in this size and fear looking for them at the next size...Tips on what brands carry them that large and not having to pay a ton?
