I just got one for my 4 month old. She loves it! She has pretty chunky legs and it is hard to get her in and out. I am hoping she fits in it for a while more. I also have a friend who puts her 6 week old in one too. I thought she was too small for one, but she seems to do well because she holds up her head really well.

My daughter is also almost 4 months and shes to small for it. She sits in it weird. Doesn't seem to comfortable. She is kinda bunched up in it. My first daughter was around 5 1/2 months old when we started using the bumbo regularly.

I just bought my Bumbo tonight. My son is 4 months. He LOVES it! It's the only thing we have that he enjoys. Doesn't like swing too much, hates the vibrating chair, etc. If your child can hold his head well, it will help strengthen his back muscles.

I say my son in it a 3 1/2 months, but i proped the bumbo seat against something so it would help support his head if he got too tired & I only did it for short periods of time. He is a little over 4 months now & loves his bumbo, he is just getting to big for it...he is very long 27 1/2 inches & he weighs 18 Lbs or so now, so he grew out of it very fast.
