Anybody happening to have complications yet???

according to my last period il be 12 weeks on this coming sunday but when i had an ultrasound at 10 weeks they couldnt find a heartbeat(which has happened to a few of my friends who now have healthy babies) because of the PCOS and not having regular cycles the doc said my dates may be off a few weeks.

i went for my first doc appt and ultrasound on june 1st. the doc i saw was an ass.. didnt like him at all.. he told me and my hubby that there was no heartbeat that he could find but then again he kept complaining that the screen was really dark.. he didnt even know how to fix it.. so that wasnt comforting then he told us that more than likely we miscarried at some point even though i havent had ANY symptoms of a miscarriage.. no bleeding or cramping or anything.. i was also told i have a couple of cysts on my left ovary and i am carring the pregnancy on the left side of my uterus... i am a plus sized girl and i have had 3 abdominal surgeries in the last 31 months so i have a lot of scar tissue as well.. i also have PCOS so he said my dates could be wrong because of that.. all of that combined makes me doubt his call on the miscarriage... i have my next ultrasound on the 15th at 11am with a different doctor... we are getting another opinion...and the strangest thing was last night i had a dream about that appointment and that everything was normal and as it should be with my baby... ill keep everyone posted what happens but right now the new doc say he doesnt wanna give us false hope but that we still might have miscarried or we just arent as far along as we once thought...

I go pregnant with my Paraguard IUD in my cervix. That has brought a whole array of issues and worries because they cant get it out. I have appts with a specialist every 4 weeks and appts with a regular OB every 4 weeks. So basically I have dr's appts every 2 weeks. I also have ultrasounds every time I go to the specialist. I am at a high risk of mis-carrying til 23 weeks and then it turns into a high risk for pre-term labor. It has been very stressful. I am also at a high risk of getting an infection that could be potentially dangerous.

I hope everything works out for you! I'm worried about my blood pressure but I will found out when I go in next week! They found a sist on the ovary that produced the egg. They said it was normals and should pop itself. I haven't had my follow-up but the back pain has stopped so I hope it has gone away!

I had similar complications in my last pregnancy. Granted they weren't quite this early but still, the same things. I will tell you a few things I did to help. For the blood pressure I reduced my sodius intake as low as possible (this is not that hard nowdays with all the stuff out there for low salt diets) and The whole family (extended included) was told in no uncertain terms that they were not to dicuss anything even remotely stressful with me on penaly of not being allowed to see or talk to me for the duration of my pregnancy (including visiting the hospital afterwards) and that I was the one who got to decide if they were stressing me, not them. That REALLY helped my blood pressure stay down because I have a big family and they all like drama.
For the Blood sugar, ask your OB if you can take cinnamon pills. Cinnamon helps diabetics metabolise sugar more efficiently and with less strain on the pancreas.

hi.... i am nearly 11weeks and when i went to see my midwife she said i am a "high case" due to the meds i am on, as i have a unactive thyrodglained..... my meds have been made up to more.... midwife says i ahve to have a consultant through my whole pregnancy and extra scans to make sure baby is growing ok..... this is my second baby, i didnt have any problems with my 1st pregnancy, she just was a big baby weighing 9lb 9oz but was 11days late! midwife says i have got a really high chance of having a small baby cos of the meds and even a c section if the consultant feels its needed.... also i have to keep having my glucose tests as my family have diabetes and i have a high risk of getting it due again to my meds..... not really worried, as long as baby is doing fine.... i will find out what everything means and whats really happening hopefully next week when i go for my 1st scan. all the best jessi x

I had a few bleeding scares early on around 5-8 weeks. The cause of the bleeding was never determined but everything looks good now and my little one seems to be growing right on target. I have a m/c history so I was very relieved when I got to see our little baby and its heart beating away about 3 weeks ago.
