i have my first prenatal appointment today at 220 eastern time.. i was told i would be giving my medical history but not told if there was going to be anything else done or not.. i was also told it is the appointment with a nurse not the doctor. what should i expect to happen???

You medical history will be taken, and you will be weighed and a few blood tests may be done. The first appointment is one of the longest. Depending on how far along you are, you may have an ultrasound to check viability and get and accurate due date. It depends on the doc.
