My son was doing so well with his baby food for the last month or two. We have just started some soft table food and now he will NOT take the spoon. It's very frustrating. Not to mention I have soooo much baby food in my pantry, what a waste! I wonder if he'll ever take the pureed foods again or if this is just a phase. He thinks he's so cool eating big kid foods, so cute.

My daughter had a similar problem, and our solution was either to pretend we were eating her food so she would get excited to try it, or to use an adult spoon. Im not sure why that worked but somehow just using the same spoons we use made all the difference! Ive also read that it helps to give them baby food when they are really hungry and then let them have finger foods, but that didnt seem to help with my daughter.
Also, you can look up recipes on how to make your own baby biscuits and some of them use certain kinds of baby food for flavor, you might be interested in trying that if your son keeps refusing. Good luck!
