Anyone have the Graco My Ride 65 Convertible Carseat?

I have the graco my ride 65 and love it. It is pretty bulky, but it fits in the middle back (right between the two front seat) of my 96 corolla. I sit with my LO in the back, it's a little crowded, but we enjoy eachother's company. I would recommend it, we just got hit by a car a couple weeks ago and he didn't get hurt at all. Hope it works just as well for you. It is a little tough to move from car to car, but how I see it is - if it were easy to get in and out of the car, how safe and secure is it? For the sake of my child's safety and comfort, I can handle a little pull and tug here and there. BTW - he never fails to fall asleep in it - even in short car rides. My only prob - the material makes my son sweat a little, which I'm sure is somewhat uncomfortable, but not enough for him to wake up or get fussy.

When my son was first born we had the stroller/carseat combo and every time we got into the car he would SCREAM. We got the My Ride 65 carseat as a shower gift and we decided to give it a try. Lets just say I no longer dread getting in the car. My son naps in the car seat all the time... I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the MyRide 65 (pink and brown) and I absolutely love it. I'm not too sure why they made it with 2 cup holders, but I use one to keep Alexis' soother. Other than being huge, I love it. I don't recommend it for small cars. I have a honda civic sudan and l have a hard time seating someone in the passenger seat. But on the bright side, I will not have to buy another car seat until she is 65 lbs. I also like the idea of keeping her rear-facing longer :) ... To answer your other questions, Alexis crawled into it in our home before we installed it and fell asleep in it, so I assume it's comfortable for her. And yes, I think it's a pain to move it in and out of the car, I think I will have to cut the straps when I turn it around to foward facing, because I cannot get the release belt to work. At least I know it's not going anywhere.

We have the Graco My Ride Convertible Carseat. I love it, and so does my son. It does take up quite a bit of room though. We have it in the middle back seat though, and the back of it fits between the two front seats. It works out really well for us! I wouldn't be much help with whether or not it's difficult to move from car to car because I actually haven't taken it out of my car the whole time we've owned it. I would imagine that it wouldn't be too easy though because of its size. Hope I helped!

I have the my ride 65 and I love it!! My daughter falls asleep in it as soon as we get in the car! I haven't had any problems with any of the straps either. I guess my only complaint would be that it is very big, there's not a whole lot of room for the other kids but they're pretty little so it's not a huge deal. My daughter and I have love the seat :)

We have an Evenflo Symphany 65. It is an awesome seat!! You can sit rearfacing up to 35lbs and then in the 5pt harness until 65lbs and then in the booster position with the seat belt until 100lbs!!! Great grow with me carseat!

We also have the Britax Roundabout and they can stay rear facing until 40 lbs. This is a really great car seat, highly recommend it. I looked into the My Ride 65 but it seemed too big and bulking. But other than that, it seemed like a nice seat as well.

I purchased a MyRide 65 for my son but ended up returning it because I could not get the harness straps to tighten enough to keep my son safe. I have also heard that the harness tightener strap fraus after a few uses because of a rough edge piece of metal that keeps it in place, and also that the shoulder straps tend to tightne unevenly. Personally I have the Britax Roundabout 50 and I love it! My son still fits in his SnugRide 32, I have the base for it in my car, and DH and I both have the Britax seat in our cars.
