Anyone still sanitizing their baby's bottles? I am but wondering how long I should?

I am using a counter top steamer to sanitize all my little guy's bottles. He is 6 months plus a coulple of days. When can you safely stop? Is the dishwasher an option or just hand wash?

We are still sanitizing as well & using sterile water & I plan to continue to approx a year, but someone pointed out to me that once your baby is able to pick things up off the floor & put them in his/her mouth the santizing thing becomes a bit of an act in futility.

Yes I am still sanitizing bottles. Baby Center says they should be sanitized for the whole first year. Apparently the bacteria that grows from milk can be really bad
