Has anyone used it? I bought it cause I wanted to try adding a tsp to his bottles to see if that helped his reflux. He puked so much more than usual both days he had it. Then I realized it smells like fish so bad! Is that normal? The expiration date is April 2010. I am so weirded out. I threw it out and went and got Gerber single grain oatmeal cause my daughters ate that and he hasnt spit up all day and seems to be feeling good.

Gosh I havent had a baby in almost 6 years! Haha I kinda feel brand new to all this. My mom was around with my older kids and she always insisted on me feeding them at 2 months but I never did. I guess if they are eating bigger amounts of formula or breast milk and not seeing satisfied. Once they can sit up good is also a good thing to wait for.

Lots of people have been saying your baby will let you know when they are ready to start eating solids ... what are the signs??!!

Yeah I wasnt going to start solids until 5-6 months but he has acid reflux real bad and they said adding a tsp of rice cereal to his formula would help. He wont get veggies until after 5 months and fruit after 6. He's not ready for cereal on the spoon yet!

Hi Rebel, perhaps your baby's digestive system is still too sensitive for even just a small amount of solids? Some people say to wait until the baby is 6 months old before introducing things like cereal or pumpkin to their diet.
