my little guy is 5 months and 11 days old and in the past two weeks has started to sleep through the night from 9-7:30-8am in the morning. Before myself and my hubby go to bed we feed him as much out of the bottle as he wants (6 0z and he is usually sleeping) and then goes to sleep. HE DOES HOWEVER wake up around 3 times for him dummy when he realizes he doesn't have it.

my little one is 5 months, i feed her before she goes to bed with a bottle with cereal in it, and she sleeps through the night. I think it just depends on the baby, every baby is different.

No. my little one get her last bottle between 7 - 8 pm, then she sleeps till the next morning about 6 - 8 am. If it happens that she wakes up during the night, i just give her ,her pacifier and she goes back to sleep, without any complaints

Yes!!! Thought this one was going to be different as he was sleeping from 11:00pm until 7:00am when he was 6 weeks old. However, it's now gone to pot totally and he has absolutely NO routine whatsoever at night. I've now got a charged torch and a magazine by his cot so that I can at least catch up on some reading whilst everyone else snores around me!

Oh jeez, YES! Liam goes to bed around 8 after a 8oz feed and sleeps till maybe 2 or 3 and needs another 8oz. He is a big boy at 21lbs and needs that feed in the middle of the night and then he is out till 6 or 7. So once isn't that bad. It has taken alot to get to this point after waking up every 2 hours for the first 4 months.

Henry does intermittently. He will have his bedtime bottle sometime between 7:30 and 8:30 and normally I wake him at 5:30am to eat before we leave for the day. Once in a while, he will wake sometime between 2:30 and 3:30 to have a bottle. I think it's just during growth spurts though. Well I'm hoping it's a growth spurt anyway, it's beginning to be more frequent. he's been doing it a lot lately.

My little Annalise has her bath at 6:30pm bottle about 7 and is out cold until 4am . Eats 4-5 oz and sleeps until 9am. Like any little one she has her bad nights but seems to like this routine. We just started it two months ago because she was getting up at least 3 times a night ! It's amazing on how little sleep your body can function :)

no my daughter now sleeps from 8pm till 7.30 shes on 4 6 ounze bottles a day plus 3 meals so that might be something to do with it, if you havent already started weaning, then i think its about time you started as i think the little one may just be ready for it.x

My daughter Sierra had been sleeping through the night since she was 2 months old. but she had surgery almost a month ago and now she wakes up to eat at night. I don't know if it is from having surgery or not though.

Yes. My son Harlan goes to sleep at about 7 and wakes sometimes at 12am to feed if he skips that feeding or not , he always wakes at 3 to eat and then sleeps til about 7, if his 3 year old sister lets him. I think this is completely normal for their age. Keep in mind the size of their tummy is only the size of thier closed fist. They can only hold so much food in their bellies right now. The rice cereal in the bottle is a myth. We just need to be patient with the little guys while they go through their stages. Good luck!

yes, yes and yes. our son is a big boy and still wakes for a full feed (8 to 10 oz), so we know he's hungry and still needs this late feed. if you want to try weaning the night feed, try reducing the amount of food in the bottle (if you're bottle feeding) one or two ounces per night for a few nights. if he does finish the bottle, or does not cry for more food, you know that your baby is not hungry, and just needs to suckle. you can try using the pacifier if you're using one to satisfy his need. waking up becomes habitual.

I just weaned my little guy off his 2am feeding. He still wakes at 2am like clockwork but I do not offer milk. I just rock him back to sleep. Ocasionally if I have a hard time getting him to sleep I let him nurse for a minute or two but he usually just falls back to sleep. I hope this lasts!

NO! Finally! He just started going 8pm-7am. He wakes up at midnight every night like clockwork. We just started giving him his pacifier when he wakes up at midnight and he falls back asleep until 7am. At this point they should be able to get through most of the night without a feeding if they have had their daily amount during the day.

Randon does but we are trying to ween him off of it. We have been for over a month. the doctor suggested it. We have a few nights that he sleeps through the night and then it's the 2-4 am feedings. Really sucks especially when you have to get up at 6:30- 7 to get the other one off to school.

Cooper is usually asleep between 7 and 8pm. We feed him a bottle(6 oz.)(he is asleep during this feeding) before we go to bed between 10 and 11pm. He sleeps until 5 and then wakes for a small bottle(4 oz.) and then goes back to sleep until about 7am.

Yes, and I don't know where it came from!!! By 9 weeks Kaiden(born 9/25) was sleeping from 10pm-7:30am with no waking in between. Then all of a sudden, at like the first of feb, he was waking up all hours. He wouldn't want to eat, so I was assuming he was awake because of his tooth that was making it's way through. But for the past week and a half, he screams for a bottle anywhere from 2-5 am, and drains 6 oz. I think the pain of teething may have passed and he's just hungry. I am going to start giving him some rice cereal before bedtime to see if that helps at all.
