my little girl eats A LOT!!! she has an 8oz. bottle of formula when she wakes up and then 2oz. fruit mixed with a bowl of baby cereal followed by a handful of cheerios. mid-morning she has a few teething biscuits or cheerios.

at noon, she eats 6-7oz. of meat & veggies (i make my own baby food, and i puree it but leave lots of veggie chunks) then 3-4oz. of fruit. after that she drinks a 6oz. bottle.

mid-afternoon she drinks another 6oz. bottle.

supper is at 5:30 and she has 10-12oz. meat & veggies, then 3-4oz. fruit.

at 7 she has an 8oz bottle, then off to bed!

she eats so much, and she's a big girl, but not chubby at all! she weighs around 24lbs.

Baby's needs and appetites are always changing! One trick that I have learned is the 'neh neh neh' cry, which is your baby's way of telling you he is hungry. I take my ques from him. ; )

My son really isnt on one. He never has been and they doctor has told me that is fine. But he has always eaten more then most babies his age. That and hes not eating baby food anymore. When he stopped wanting to eat the baby jar foods his doctor told me take him off it and start giving him what i eat. so for breakfast he has either oatmeal or cereal lunch he has mac and cheese or some raviolis or something and for dinner her has whatever we have. ofcourse with a bottle of formula in between if he wants it. But hes starting to not want that now and we trying milk with him.

I still breastfeed so at 7:30am when he wakes up he gets a breastfeed, then at 9:30am he will eat about 150g of maize meal porridge. At 10:00am he gets another breastfeed just before going down for his nap. He has half and avocado pear, a 100g tub of yoghurt and some fruit puree at about 1:30pm, then another breastfeed before he goes down for his nap at 2:00pm. I will give him a quick breastfeed when he wakes up at around 4:00pm or some drinking yoghurt, then he'll eat anything from 200g to 250g of home made vegetables with a little mashed chicken breast or beef. I will breastfeed him again to get him down at bed time at 7:30pm.

My son is just below the 97th percentile, 23.8lbs. So I think he is doing well on what he's getting.

Sylvia wakes up and has 6oz bottle, then 1/2 jar of stage 3 breakfast food. 3 hours later she has 6 oz bottle and goes down for a nap. When she wakes up we have full jar of stage 3 food (her favorite right now is the spaghetti and the corn and carrot mix). 3 hours later she has 6 oz bottle and some puffs or gold fish crackers. For dinner she has another stage 3 jar and some of whatever we're eating for dinner...usually rice or pasta and some veggies. Then after bathtime and right before bed she has another 6 oz bottle and some cuddle time. She's in the 25% for weight and height and is on cows milk, no more formula.

Wow everyone i sooo different.
My litte one preety much refuses his bottles now, so his feeding schedule is
8 am 5 oz porridge or museli
nap and on waking water and a couple of fruity ricecakes
12.30 table food, normally a finger sandwich, sausage, sticks or fruit and veg, puffs, cheerios and most definately a pice of cheese he loves it! Any combination of the above with a yoghurt and some fruit pieces.
Then a nap and on waking puffs, biscuit or rice cakes.
5pm table food again whatever i'm eating just chopped up and fed to him, then 2 oz rice pudding with half a pot of fruit puree, sometimes half milky bar.
6.15 bath and quiet time
7pm 5 oz bottle if he'll tak it and bed.
He eatsloads of fruit veg and meat so i'm not too worried about him not having his formla, and i putit in his breakfast and pudding, so i think he gets everything he needs. he also drinks lots and lots of water through the day.

we do (and we stopped BFing last week)
8am: 1 weetbix and 2 prunes
then before 9am bottle formula
sleep
12-12:30ish yoghurt and fruit (like quarter orange) or a sandwich with cream cheese or ham/cheese and then a bottle before bed
an afternoon snack of fruit, pears or some rice cake
Dinner at 5:30pm - meat and veggies and some custard for "dessert" she has table food pieces and sometimes food spooned to her
Then another bottle before bed.

We progressively have milk and water throughout the day!!

mines still about 9 1/2 months, BUT heres a rough idea of her schedule... times can vary some, but its about what we give her

8-9am 2-3tbsp of cereal (anything from barley to mixed, to multigrain with fruit mixed in, we use the Pablum brand stuff) and then 180ml of formula

12-1pm 1/3 large jar of meat or veggies, or a mix and 1/4 jar of fruit

3pm 180ml formula

6-7pm 1/3 jar (large jar) meat and/or veggie with either fruit or yogurt as desert.

8:30-9pm 180ml formula then bedtime

Usually after lunch, but sometimes later we give her a snack that is usually cheerio's or gerbers wobbly wheels, and throughout the day a sippy cup of water. sometimes she drinks a 4th 180ml bottle of formula too.

My son doesn't really have a set eating schedule either, but here is an idea of what he eats during the day:

Morning: 6-7oz bottle & half a container of yogurt. Sometimes I'll cut up some toast or banana for him, but he usually just plays with it haha. :)

Mid-morning: 6-7oz bottle

Lunch: half a container of fruit

Mid afternoon: 6-7oz bottle & half a container of this apple cinnamon oatmeal stuff that he likes

Evening: 6-7oz bottle & half a container of sweet potatoes

Bedtime: 6-7oz bottle

I'm still giving him a lot of formula, because he's a very picky eater & underweight. His doctor said I need to be feeding him a lot during the day. Gotta keep those calories up!

There is no set schedule for my son. I can really only plan his first meal with exactitude at around 7:30-8am. Cereal mixed with milk. I make him 8oz of milk and put some of that on his cereal and then he finishes bottles as he feels hungry. After breakfast, I try feeding him about 3-4 hours later, but sometimes he is hungry before, sometimes he waits a little longer. I let him tell me when to feed him and how much. I do try to have him drink his formula first since it has more nutrition then anything else he would get. Then I feed him Gerbers Stage 2, YoBaby Yogurt, snacks puffs, bananas..... Every day is different.

You shouldn't really base it on what others do. I can only give you a guess on my son. I feed him when he is hungry. No schedule. It works better that way IMO. Once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening. Maybe 2 bottles in between. My son is different than everyone else. Just like everyone else is different than everyone else. I just go based on my son. Good luck!

Mikie doesn't seem to eat nearly as much as any baby I know but is still very healthy and has regular potties/BMs throughout the day. Some days are different than others (ie. one day he will be ravenous and eat almost a whole baby size bowl of food and other days he may only eat a bite of this and that).

Generally this is how his eating goes:
8am: 2 tbs oatmeal, 5 quartered grapes, 4 oz water/juice (50/50), 10-15 puffs
11:45: half piece of wheat breat with lentil spread and melted cheese, 5-10 halved blueberries, 3-4 oz water/juice
3:00: 2 ice cubes worth of veggies/lentils, small strip of turkey, 3-5 quartered grapes, baby hand full of puffs
5:30-6:00: same as previous meal

He nurses around 8 and again at 10pm. Because I exercise every morning, I have him nurse around 5 am when I get ready to go to work and make sure I do not have any fullness the rest of the day. I try to offer him the milk I have frozen but he refuses milk unless it is night time or fed to him with a syringe (I think he likes the sensation).

Wow, Maysen seems to eat loads more than that. His appetite has increased a lot the past couple of weeks. Also he absolutely refuses to have any milk during the day now, he will have water or juice with all his meals. This is what a normal day would look like:

Wake up - 7oz bottle of milk
Breakfast (about 8am) - Bowl of porridge with chunks of fruit or toast.
Mid morning snack - Half a small banana or a yoghurt.
Lunch (1pm)- Half stage 2 meat&veggie jar and a fruit pot.
Mid afternoon snack - fruit pieces or a yoghurt or some cheerios.
Dinner (about 6pm) - Half a stage 2 meat&veg jar, a fruit pot or half a dessert jar (apple crumble or something).
Before bedtime - 7oz bottle of milk, if we're lucky, sometimes he is too crabby and doesn't even want that.
