My must have's and now baby shower presents are "TheWoombie" (a zip up swaddle) Oh my little houdini would get out of anything when she hit 8 weeks!!! Definately gave me fantastic sleep. "Quebies" for freezing baby food. "Bubbamat" for playing and tummy time and my "spew cloths". my mum cut cloth nappies in half and overlocked the edges. They were brilliant as my little bubba is a spewey one and I had BM to burn and leaked everywhere and we could go through at least 3-4 at each feed - 8 times a day!!

I have two boys and you can't go past a pile of dirt and some sticks forget all those expensive toys!! I think people get so obsessed with what you need to buy when they have a baby. all those plastic things that you use for a little while and throw away once broken I'm quite sure they are not recylcable and go into land fill. all baby really needs is somewhere safe to sleeps, clothes, food and most importanmt lots and lots of love!!!

If you have a gassy baby i strongly reccomend the dr. brown bottles. they are exspensive but totally worth it. My liffle man loves his areosaucer. and he is 6 months old and addicted to mickey mouse club house. i turn it on the tv or the computer and he will watch the WHOLE thing!

I dont have one yet but i have heard the best things about the rainforest jumparoo. i really like the soothie brand bottles and pacifiers. She got a soothie paci with a doggy attached to it when she was in the NICU at miami childrens hospital. She wont take any other brand so when i saw that soothie had bottles too i got them and she loves them.

I absolutely love my diaper caddy! I have bought it for friends' baby showers twice now. It was invented by a mom. It's called the SaraBear diaper caddy. www.sarabearco.com I'm a little "type A" when it comes to organization...and this is right up my alley! Check it out. They sell them at Target.
A few other things...
Halo Sleep Sack
Schwinn Jogging Stroller
Hyland's Teething Tablets
JuJuBe brand diaper bag

My suggestions are not baby toys, but cleaning products. I sell some AMAZING prespotter, laundry detergent, detergent booster, and all-fabric bleach that have been LIFESAFERS - especially the prespotter as I put my baby in cloth diapers.

A product called colic calm, his baby einstein play mat, definitely the precious planet jumperoo, his precious planet mobile with remote control (thanks grandma and grandpa), the bumbo rocks, wishing i had gotten a boppy though, we really like the playtex vent-aire wide bottles because they vent from the bottom cutting down on gas, anything made by MAM is really wonderful...oh and remembering to buy socks a size larger than what he actually needs so they will stay on his feet

The bumbo was a life saver! My daughter also loves her exersaucer and her jumper. Breastflow bottles were a lifesaver when switching her to bottles from breastfeeding.

well i'm not a new mom, but I have found this time around having his bouncy chair has been great! The thing that I was surprised with is the swing, he did not like it, and my daughter lived in it. I really want to try these jumperoos everyones talking about. is it just like an exersaucer?
