My daughters doctor said when her fever is 101.0 that is considered a fever fro a 6 month old..... Shes now almost 7 months and she gets fevers often from teething. Tylenol, motrin, or advil will bring it down... Dont worry to much... :)

I think in really young babies, anything above 100.4 is considered high. When my son got his second set of vaccines he spiked a 103 fever and the doctor said that was fine, as long as it was controllable with Tylenol. He said if it went above 103, I should be concerned. If my son gets a fever of greater than 101 now, I usually give one dropper full of Tylenol (0.8ml). The fever will come down within 20 minutes and you can give Tylenol every 4 hours as needed to control the fever.
