Who should I invite? I have made a list but I think it is too big. I have invited all close family members and close people to Raylen. There are a few that have not been around so much in his life. Just wanted to get some ideas about this. Thanks in advance.

I'm just inviting the people that have been in Addison's life and watched her grow up. I don't want a lot of people there she doesn't know. Not that she minds because she loves people, but I don't want the party to get too big and out of hand.

Laura, My husbanc has a big family and it will be a lot of people. I think Im going to invite close friends that have seen Raylen grow.

I am having the same problem. Our list is at 30 with just family. Though we were invited to our friends' babies first bdays, so I feel the need to invite them. Plus, I would love for them to be there. However, everything you read says to keep it as simple as possible so that baby can still have fun. We are inviting family that lives near by, and I guess I have finally decided to include close friends. They all started to ask what our plans were for our son's bday. I hate saying, "we are only inviting family." I guess when you are cooking for 30, 6-8 more people doesn't matter! I am also going to try to make his cake. I'm looking for an angel food cake recipe with a berry flavored filling. He loves berries anything. I guess though I will then have to get a cake for the adults. I have been overwhelmed with this whole bday thing, but I just want him to have fun. That's all that matters!
