Big BBQ with lots of friends and family. Most haven't been to our new house yet either. For the cake, I got a HUGE cucpcake mold so Cayden can just destroy his own personal cake and wear as much as he wants!! Let him have his fun!!! The rest of us can have a piece of a second sheetcake...just a fun, relaxed day...I hope :)

I did noahs ark for my oldest sons first birthday (it was the 3D cake that looked like the actual ark and i bought zoo pals paper ware to go with it.) He also had his own personal cake to play in (touching the cake you want to serve to everyone else is just not sanitary!)

so this time i am going with Thomas the Train (attempting to get the 3D model again) for my youngest. He really loves the show and it has a "1" on the side of the train so i thought that is nice added bonus.

Having 2 sept. kids is starting to get interesting!!!

Parker will be 1 on the 16th. I would like to have a monkey party but cant find the one I like in Ontario. I might have to take a trip to the states. I haven't decided where to have it yet. I cant beleive he will be one soon, where does the time go?

As we are going to bunbury for my sisters wedding matilda turns 1 on the 14th sept.. we are going to have a small gathering with all of our family and i will be making her a minnie mouse cake for her to destroy as she loves watching mickey mouse club house.. i cant believe she is already 1... gone way to fast..

Gavin turns 1 Sept. 7th. His sister just turned 2 in June and we have a lot of friends with kids of diffrent ages. I scheduled a party for 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon at Catch Air, which has giant inflatables, a toddler ball pit and balloon room, block area, slides, light up dance floor and tons of other toys. That way all ages will have fun. He loves Lightning McQueen, so I am getting him a small baby cake with him on it and then a larger one with more of the gang... plus balloons and small goody bags that are age appropriate. I always save one foil balloon from each of their birthday parties to put in their memory trunk with an invitation.

My baby G 1 on 5th sept. I call her my lil princess so the theme is Princess! got over 50 people comin to our garden party. we avin a princess bouncy castle, castle style gazebo as food tent, all the decorations are princess n pink and ive had her a Pink princess dress made an she got a lil tiara. Even a 3 tier cake wi sparling crown on top. It will be 1st tym both sides of familys meet so its guna be a bit party . My baby G will love it espec the bouncy castle. she loves bouncin lol. But everyone will av fun which is what its all about. Celebration ! ♥

My lil man is turning 1 on September 13th! I have a "Prince" theme planned that i got from a magazine sent to my house..the website is called www.1stwishes.com they also have costumes on their website since october is coming soon as well! Even tho he is my little "Chunk Monk" cuz he's jus like a monkey & we are addicted to monkey outfits i chose the prince theme instead of the monkey theme. My son's prince theme will be topped off w/ a blue & gold crown w/ a 1 on it and even a T-shirt and decoration for his high chair (throne) lol... all found on that website. For parents w/ a little girl they also hav a pretty pink "Princess" theme as well as other themes. Happy coming Birthday to ALL September babies! :)

My Lily Bug will 1 on the 15th and we will be celebrating her birthday at the park with all our family and friends :) her theme is lady bugs. Lilyana's cake is going to be a lady bug with Lili flowers all around it. and her smash cake with be exactly the same. Im super excited cant wait.

Happy Birthday Everyone!
We are having my daughter Maddie's 1st Birthday at my moms church. I'm also doing the entire hoot owl theme. It's just so cute! Were getting a 2-tier cake made with and edible 3d owl on top and then a lil smash cake for Maddie that is in the shape of the owl. There will be around 50+ guess that will be invited and just hang out and enjoy each others company!

hi all, our lillte Lala is turning 1 on the 15th of September and we are so exited, we alsohave a ladybug theme for her and its just to cute, my mom is makng her cake and then im thinking of a smash cake aswell, we are having the party at home withfriends and family and getting a jumping castle (for the older little ones) ect I went over the top with the invites so im really exited for the rest. Enzo is one on the 11th of sept... He will be having a ferrari themed party (hence his first name) We will have a ferrari bday cake, mexican themed food (make your own taco bar) I am having the big red dog stop in to do a story time, there will be a face painter there for all of the 30 kids... We are doing a bean bag toss into an old tire for the car theme, Also the rest of the guest will be enjoying cupcakes that have an oreo on top and then a mint candy on top of the orea to make it look like a car tire.. I have tons of little car decoration i have made.. it is going to be a huge party more for the parents then the kids... all in all it is a family celebration with almost 70 people.,.. should be a wopping good time since i have been preparing and planning since may... Can you tell i am a little OCD ...lol

My little man is one one the 4th sept and we are having 2 parties! one at our house for all the mummy and baby friends we have and one at my parents, a bbq for all the family. we didnt pick themes as he wont remeber a theme this year, and next year he s having a thomas party! He will love all the food and attention! Im sooo excited but still can't believe he is one in less than 3 weeks!

My baby girl turns one on the 4th of september. We are planning a get together at our house with some not so fancy food and of course cake! Shes getting her own little cake that she can attack! :)
Im thinking the theme will be butterflies! :) I hope she has fun.. im sure she will cuz she loves people! I have heard that one yr old parties should be only a few people so they can still have fun.. which i don't really understand...? but we have so many people.... friends and family... that care about her that i couldn't leave anyone out! im sure it will be a great time! :)

Hey, my little man Stephen turns one on September 4th. We're having his party on September 11th since his birthday is so close to labor day. We are doing a sesame street theme since he loves Elmo it will be held at a park there will be 15 kids and 28 adults there will be tons of balloons, a sesame street theme cake Stephen will have his own little smash cake that will be Yellow red and blue with maybe Elmo face on top, there will be bubbles and a pinata. My most favorite part is his first year Montague movie I have been working on. Its going to be tons of fun. Happy 1st Birthday to all the September babies

Hello! My little girl turns One on september third! were having her party on the 4th as saturday works better for us. She is absolutely in awe of "In the night garden" so were just having a casual BBQ since we have a big patio... inviting lots of family over, and lightly theming it "In the night garden"... i dont want to go too overboard coz shes only one and wont get it... but i do want it to be special so im being creative rather than spending heaps. the treat table will be all flower themed, so daisy cut cookies (trying to find a healthy recipe), flower cupcakes, daisy cut sandwiches (with the cookie cutter) etc etc... going to make my own pinata in the shape of iggle piggles head for the older kids in the family, theyll enjoy beating him up sadly and the smaller ones will steal all the treats inside haha... making her cake with in the night garden figurines on top, which second as a present, got them cheap on ebay. and we have a massive theatre tv so will have the show playing on mute in the main room too, to add to it. im sure ill think of more before then, thats just a few things. None of which are expensive, seeing as she wont even remember other than photos lolll.

It's so much fun to organize a kiddy's party! We're having a big table outside, under the tree, with helium balloons for everyone. Can't decide on the cake though... it's a choice between Roly Mo, Teletubbies (La-La) and Noddy... I think Noddy will be the easiest to bake :-)

Happy nearly 1st birthday to all our lil ones! We are planning a sports themed 1st birthday for our baby boy,as Dad is Rugby league crazy n Mum comes from a Rugby crazed family,we also enjoy basketball,we have aspirations already for our lil man,Maddox was born to be a league or rugby star- weighing 11lbs (or 5kgs) at birth!!he could end up being an opera singer for all we know and we'd be happy with that!hehe but we would love for him to follow in our passion for sport and one day get to the top of Rugby or rugby league!Anyway,sport is our theme,we're having the party at home,a few close friends and family and their children. We're having a bbq for the adults,food for the kids will have sports themed names,shapes etc.the cake is going to be chocolate or maybe banana,with green icing for grass,which i cant wait to se him get his hands into! We're going to have fun things like mini soccer goals and balls,mini basketball hoops for all the littlies to play with. Can't wait,Goodluck with ur parties guys!

we have a community room reserved for our twins first bday which is on the 10th. we are just using the baby's first birthday theme and we are getting them each a cake that they can tear up...lol. we have a ton of family and friends that are going to come to show their love.

I can't believe our little ones are turning one already! Happy Birthday to all the Sept. babies! My little Zachary turns one on Sept. 10th.

I am throwing Zac a football themed party (since daddy is a big football fan). We rented a room at the local park district that also has a play area for the kids to run around in (or crawl)...perfect for their age, and my daughter's age (she's 3). We invited friends and family for the special day of Sept. 5th (Labor Day weekend).

To answer your question Daina, yes, I am putting together goody bags for all the kids coming to the party. I'll just put little things, like stickers, a few smaller toys and candy. For the babies, I will put together a more baby friendly bag, like a ball for them to play with, bubbles the parents can blow for them or some other things. I like to put in the bags items that go with the theme. So I will be doing football bags, with football/sports themed toys and such.

I plan on baking cupcakes for the kids (easier for them to eat and faster to pass out), getting a small cake for Zac and getting a regular size cake for the adults. I did this for my daughter's 3rd birthday and it worked out great!

First and foremost, happy early birthday to all of your little ones - it is absolutely amazing how time flies! Our Ethan will be 1 on September 10 (I cannot believe it is just 4 weeks away)!! We are having family and close friends for the festivities (cake smooshing, etc.) and we are renting a pavilion in the park that has a playground for all of the other kids to play. Our theme is "Little All-Star" and we are having a cake made from the "cake lady" that has been making cakes for my family for 30+ years (she is fantastic!). We are not going crazy with the decorations, but we are going to have a signature frame for all of our family and friends to write Ethan a message/memory from his first year that we will hang on his wall and he can keep forever.

I do have one question though - are you all putting gift/favor bags together for the other kids that attend the party? My husband and I are debating what to do (I think we have more kids than adults!). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The theme I chose is toy story, we are throwing Zachary's party at the neighborhood pool, he loves to swim. It will just be our family and close friends with their children. I'm making a buzz light year cake for everyone and Zachary will have his own woody cake. I have yet to let him have any sweets so it will be a vanilla cake and cream cheese frosting. We will barbecue brisket and hot dogs. There will also be fruit salad and watermelon which my Zachary just can't get enough of. I will record him diving into his first cake. It's going to be a short party, one year olds cant handle too much excitement. I can't wait, but at the same time I'm sad about how fast this 1st year has flown by. I miss my newborn cuddles, he's so independent now. I try to cuddle and he pushes away, he's more interested in exploring and learning to walk. Thats just natural.

Miguels birthday is on the 22nd but we will be celebrating on the 25th. He LOVES Mickey Mouse so that's the theme. I'll be making the cake and I'll have to do a smash cake...so cute.
I'll coordinate the decorations with red, black, and yellow. All the kids will get mickey ears and Mickey themed gifts.

We are having a party for Orla's friends & family. There is not really a theme but there will be balloons & streamers, her birthday is on the 22nd but the party will be on the 25th. Weather permitting it will be in the garden with ball pool & games for her & friends to play with, am thinking of getting a small bouncy castle for them. I am going to make her a star cake. Have already bought her some of her presents, lots of little ones rather than one big one & have made a list for other family members of what she would like. Lacota will be 1 on Sept. 10th, but we are having his party on the 11th. We are having a BBQ with family & friends in the park close to our home, I don't know how many are coming yet. The theme will be his favorite cartoon character...Spongebob. We are getting him a small personal cake to play and eat (decorated to look like a crabby patty with Spongebob sitting on top). And we are getting a sheet cake with spongebob on it for everybody to eat. We already bought his presents too! We got him 3 things. A giant floor Spongebob coloring book, wooden blocks, and a race car set of mega blocks.

Caleb will be turning 1 September 29th. He loves rubber duckys so for Caleb were throwing him rubber ducky themed birthday party. Im making a tiered cake, and the top of the cake will be a rubber duck (made of cake of corse). I’m going to let him tear into the rubber duck part of the cake, and the bottom of the cake will be for guests. Just inviting family and close friends. hey! My son Ayden turns 1 on the 21st. I was doing all kinds of research on Monday and I decided to do an Animal Safari theme for his party. It's going to be a cookout for family and friends. Instead of having a whole cake for him so smash I'm going to make cupcakes for him and the guests. I got most of the supplies online at oriental trading and other sites but the idea of getting themed decorations and them theme colored plates and cups from the Dollar Tree is a good idea : ) I also decided to do a time capsule for him so all the guests can bring some type of moments, pics, music, movies, articles or toys and then we can have him open it when he gets older. This will be a party for him as well as for me as a single mom that I made it through the 1st year!!

Happy early Birthday to the September babies! Emily will be 1 on the 9th and we will be having her party on the 11th. We are keeping it simple with just cake and icecream. We are inviting the few people we know and family. It will be Elmo themed since he is her absolute favorite. She just lights up when she sees him and can pick him out anywhere. I bought an Elmo cake pan and will be trying my hand with a decorating bag! Hope everyone enjoy's their little ones' day and take lots of pictures and video!

My son absolutely loves Yo Gabba Gabba, so that's the theme for his party. I'm getting Yo Gabba Gabba balloons, cake, pinata, and a few other things. I was going to order the plates, cups, etc. online that have the Yo Gabba Gabba characters on them, but when I saw the price of them I changed my mind. To save some money I just went to Wal-Mart and Dollar Tree and got the plates, napkins, tablecloths, plasticware, cups, and some other decorations in all the colors of the Yo Gabba Gabba characters. So everything matches, and for much less than I would have spent getting the actual things. Also, instead of renting a hall I just reserved a couple of pavillions at the local town park. It's free most places. That way there's plenty of seating. Also a lot of play equipment for the other little ones who will be there. Just thought that might help anyone else whose money is tight atm. You can have an amazing birthday party cheap.

Wow we are doing an owl themed party too. I ordered her a little dress with an owl on it, and the invitations say "Guess Whoo is Turning One?" The cake is going to be in the shape of an owl and her cake will be a little baby owl (sugar free). The peanut butter frosting is a great idea!

We are having a joint Christening and 1st birthday bbq lunch for Connor in a beautiful park by the sea. Will have a Christening cake (white chocolate mud - the same as our wedding cake) and a "monkey birthday cake" for our little Monkey. Can't wait!

Happy almost 1st birthday to everyone's little bubbas!!!!
I am sooooo excited!!! I have organised a princess party for Chloe who will be 1 on the 27th of sept...she will have a banana cake with cream cheese frosting to destroy and a big princess chocolate cake for everyone else (and for her to have a bit of too)...we have bought a blow up pool and are going to fill it with plastic balls so they can have a little ball pit to play in and a jumping castle too...
We have bought her a pink bike that has a handle at the back so we can push her and it has bars to hold her in and straps too...gotta love toy sales!!!
