Gut feeling of baby coming to early?

Was due on the 26th, my little girl (huge surprise!) came (very fast, unintentionally born at home!!) on the 15th at 1:20 in the morning! All are happy and healthy!

We were scheduled to be induced on Sept t he 10th my due date and the afternoon of the 9th I went into labor! and had out 2nd little girl on the 9th! Hope you all are doing well!

Well I'm not early :( I was due on Sun and still carrying! A little scared though, the dr. scheduled me for an induction on Thur. I'm REALLY hoping that he'll come out before then!!! I don't want to get induced, heard awful things :( I guess I'm just afraid I'll end up in c-section and i REALLY don't want to do that!!!

Update! :) So we had our appointment yesterday to check fluid level again! Its up but still considered low. The doc said because of this they didnt really want me to get to my due date or past! So have another appointment next week for them to decide what to do. That is if we make it til then! Im 2 cm and 50% effaced so we will see! :)

so yeah quick update for anyone who's interested.... as of thursday i am 3cm dilated (only 36wks), yay thats 3 i don't have to suffer through when its time for this baby to come!!! on tuesday they are going to try and turn this breech little one so keep... me in your thoughts and prayers please. then after that its just a matter of waiting until this little one decides they're ready.

just went to the hostipal because felt big pressuree between my hips and others. dr said i m 2 half cm and thin so we may have him a week early!!! :)

I had an apt yest and the dr. said that I'm on target, that he'd be surprised if the baby came after my due date (which he keeps saying is 9-13) and he wouldn't be surprised if I was a week early! So we'll see!!!

So today I had an US to check the fluid because last week I measured small! Apparently my fluid is a little low so now I have another ultrasound next friday as well as another stress test where I have to lay their for 25 minutes to see if the baby is in distress! Which to be honest stresses me out quite a bit! So at least we are considered full term at this point at a little over 37 weeks. Because they said if my fluid drops to 5 they will induce me next Friday!

I feel same way.... even the doctor told me he may come too early also. my due date s sept 2nd but i have my guts feeling s that he ll comin this weekend or next week! it drives me nuts because i m anxious to have this baby already. Because i want to have the engery to chase my daughter with my normal belly!!! eheh :)

I've had this feeling w/my 2nd now for a few months, but I'm not sure since I was late w/my first one? I have also been thinking that he was going to be close to 9lbs (1st was 8lb 4oz) and my dr. asked me fri. if I thought this one was bigger then the first one :( Not a very comforting thought since YES i do in fact think that, eek! He says we're on target for 9-13, but IDK? I'm planning on going to the coast the end of the month and keep fearing that I may go into labor during this trip :( eek! I don't really THINK i will, but just fear I will since I will be 2+hrs from home... It'd be 2 wks early so I hope I don't but we'll see!

Ok so I had my appt. The doctor had no idea about the blood work done. So she had to call and ask about the results! Which annoyed me a bit but not her fault. Blood work all looked good but I am apparently measuring small now. She is concerned slightly about that so I get another ultrasound next Friday! I never realized how smoothly my 1st pregnancy went other than the morning/night sickness!!

I have gut instinct that I'm going to come early... Baby is measuring bang on for his dates (maybe 4 oz over) but although I'm due 09/09/09 (and would LOVE him to have that due-date!) I have a feeling he'll come August 23rd. No idea why, just came into my head and won't leave it!

quick update - doc has decided to be concerned about the size so i'm seeing the doc 2x a week every week here on out....once for NST and once for a visit....i'm just thinking that's going to be exhausting!!!

I've been feeling this way too! But, I've been convincing myself it's all in my mind. I gave birth only 15 months ago to my first child (a week early; 9lbs 3 oz) and this one is on track to be bigger and now that I know what a contraction feels like -- a real one not braxton hicks -- I've been noticing them every now and then since week 28. Who knows though. It could've been the same w/ my 1st and I just didn't know what was going on! But I do know that I'll deliver by week 38 since my dr delivers via c-section for 10+ lbs babies (and I dont' want to get there....)....

I have a bit of an update too! I have been nauseas and light headed for about a week or so. We went to the doctor yesterday and she decided to do some blood tests. She is a little concerned about the start of Pre- eclampsia (sp) even though my blood pressure is still ok. So I will have a little more info on Tuesday after my next appt. Miss Sydney may be trying to come early after all!

quick update tonight, had an ultrasound today to check on lil' one's size...measuring 1wk small, not surprising for my family :) but munchkin is still breech!! we'll see what doc says about that next week.....

I feel the same way... my first due date was the 15th and it was moved to the 25th but that does not feel right... then also when i was 28 weeks they told me my cervix was already soft.... i think he will be early not to mention my dr. said to take it easy but i have not been able to. and i have been having loads of early birth dreams...

hi i hav a wierd feeling that my little one is gonna come early as well it's only been like the last couple of months iv felt this way, but i mean it's so strange i have dreams about him arriving early, i was told i have a soft cervix an he is partly engaged so that could b the reason i feel like i do, but you are not alone xxx

I'm pregnant with my 2nd baby and I've had that same exact feeling for the past few months. It's not like I want to get rid of this baby or anything sooner than I have to (because I obviously want a strong and healthy baby) but I just have that gut feeling that won't go away. I had the same feeling with my first one and he did, indeed come about 4 wks. earlier (36wks). Fortunately, he was born a strong/healthy baby boy weighing in at 6 lbs. 10oz. and 19 inches long. Honestly, I think that if we (as mothers) have that feeling, then it's because our "motherly instinct" is kicking in. As long as you're taking care of yourself and your doctor says the baby looks good, then there's really nothing to worry about. If the baby decides to come earlier than it's supposed to, then just pray and have faith that God will watch over your him/her.

I agree, keep everyone posted.....this munchkin was already sitting _low_ all pregnancy and now its _DROPPED_ talk about hip and pelvic pain and i won't even mention the braxton hicks that have gotten worse and more often....see the doc this week we'll see what she's says

We all need to come back to this board when we have our babies and find out if our predictions are true or not... My aunt and a couple of the other nurses I work with say they give me max another 4 weeks, they think he will be here mid aug, before the 23rd.... So lets all see how they pan out for us! good luck Mommies! :)

I think my little one is coming early too! :) My 1st little girl was a week early and I was so happy because I was way to uncomfortable to last another week or longer! Just remember 37 weeks is technically considered full term! So even if you are early try not to worry too much (I know easier said than done!) :) My mother in law even thinks she is going to get here in August too! Our due date is Sept. 10th so this would make her about 2 weeks early if she is right! :) Good luck everyone!

Wow, it's nice to know I'm not the only one with that feeling! I recently started feeling like everything needs to be ready asap because I think she'scoming early. She is measuring correctly for her due date of Sept 16th but I can't shake the feeling she'll be here earlier!

I have the same feeling my official due date is October 4th but I feel so strongly that he'll be arriving 1 -2 weeks early I don't even tell people oct 4th. I am convinced of September 30th. Plus, all my ultrasounds have my due date placed in Late September. I guess we'll all find out soon enough!?!

im Having the same feeling im due the 4th of september but i swear she is going to be coming at least 2-3 weeks early, I have been having nightmares to its so scary, I think we both just have to hope for the best

That is exactly it, i'm not having _true_ contractions yet but a lot of braxton hicks, and they went and changed my due date a 3rd time....26th now...._STILL_ doesn't feel right *shrugs* this baby is measuring correct for that date but with my first and within my family history, all been _small_ babies so for this one to measure on date puts one more mark on the wall for early....*sighs* i just keep reminding myself though....early or not, healthy is all that matters....let me know how things go for you!

Its funny you posted this! Because I too have been getting this odd anxious, gut feeling like baby will be here sooner! My First due date was like Sept 23rd, and then it went to the 14th, But I continue to measure three weeks ahead of that. And Now I've been starting to have some contractions and tons of back ache, but just kinda writing it off so far! I don't know, but i think he will be here end of aug... Just can't shake that feeling...
