Hi everyone , i used johnsons nappy rash cream for the first time on my daughter and her bits bum and all are now very inflammed she is in a lot of pain especially when she pees , i definately think it is a reaction to the cream and not a rash what can i use to soothe it so she can sleep peacefully. Thanks everyone

I vote for A&D ointment. That stuff heals and forms a barrier.

vaseline- it'll form a barrier to keep the pee off her skin!

I agree with Tanith, I used it on my daughter for bad diaper rash and it works great.

I know this sounds weird - but vaginal cream works wonders.

I would apply some A & D ointment. It sounds like an allerfic reaction so you may also want to give benadryl orally. Call your pediatrician if it doesn't get better and see if you can apply cortisonecream
