Quoting Sam:

hi, my son was born 7th september, he was a natural drug free birth, i was in labour for 3 hours and he was out in about 10 mins. he was 7pound 14 at birth that was 3.6kg and now he is 14pound thats over 6kgs hes gunna be a big boy, he is a very happy baby. we love him so much he is the best thing thats every happened to us, i cant wait till he starts sleeping through the night tho lol

Sam, my little guy was born the same day, after the same length of labor!  too funny.  I wasn't sure if I was in labor or not, because I'd been having a lot of false labor since 32 weeks.  So by the time I decided I was and we went to the hospital, I made it there with under 20 minutes to spare!  I delivered in my street clothes, no time to change!  Obviously, an all natural, drug-free birth.  I recovered very quickly, much more quickly than the first time around.

Zach is doing awesome!  He is a very content little guy, very smiley, and has suddenly become very talkative.  And I love his little giggle.  He is right on with his milestones, and just really started rolling yesterday.  He'd done it a couple times before, but yesterday he did it a few times in a row.  He was 7 lbs. 8 oz. and 19.5 inches at birth and at his 2 month vaccinations on the 26th of Nov. he weighed 12 lbs. 13 oz. and was 23 inches, so he's growing well.  He has little thunder thighs!  He has a cold right now, so we're getting up a couple times a night to clear out his nose. :(   Otherwise, he's a pretty good sleeper, but doesn't sleep all the way through the night yet.  Usually wakes once to eat.  We're exclusively breastfeeding, which is going well.

I'm doing well.  I have a 22 month old son too, who is very active, so I'm busy!  But I'm loving having my 2 boys!

Hi Kayla! It's amazing that it has already been three months! Bradley was born on September 1st and weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and is doing great! He had to be put on antibiotics when he was born because it took 26 hours of labor for him to come out. He just started laughing and rolling over which is really exciting. I hope everything is going well with you and your family.

my daughter was born sept.4! she was 8 lbs. 6 oz and was 15 lbs 6 oz two weeks ago so im sure she is now over 16! she was 21 in at birth and is now somewhere around 24! she is exclusively breast feed and loves to sleep next to her mommy! i thought she was sleeping through the night until recently since shes been a little congested(only in the middle of the night though...weird?) she has woken me up to eat and i found out that she no longer sleeps through the night! but she has been holding her head since probably around a month! she loves to stand up(of course with someone holding her hands)! she also loves to kick in the bath and loves the water, which of course she hated as a newborn! she is also laughing and smiling all the time...she smiles for me the most but is now starting to smile for her daddy and other ppl that she sees! she loves talking to her mommy and sometimes other ppl! and her favorite toy is her pink sassy telephone rattle! ive been showing her flash cards every now and then. and we are working on tummy time. i dont give her tummy time as often as i should but lately she has been tolerating it for longer and i arching her back up to see everything. she is also moving her arms...not really putting her weight on them though. she has been clasping her hands together for a while and is now reaching...she tends to reach toward faces! oh yeah and she might be on the verge of teething bc she has been slobbering alot and putting everything in her mouth(mommy's hands, daddy's hands, her hands, her telephone, etc.!)

My daughter was born on September 18 and she is beautiful and doing great!! She was 6 lbs. 7 oz and is now 10.5 lbs. She is a smaller baby, but is growing great for her size! She babbles, coos, and laughs all the time. She loves bath time and splashes like crazy! She scoots all over the place when laying on the floor. We have not become a fan of tummy time, but I am still working on it. She loves to sit up and will not lay down when you are holding her. She has to be in an upright position. She has held her head well since birth and has been holding her own head upright since October. She sleeps through the night except when she goes through a growth spurt and then she gets up one time in the night. She goes to be around 9 pm and sleeps until 7 am then she goes back to sleep until 10:30 and then is up most of the day. She only takes a couple cat naps during the day nothing major. She has had problems with diaper rash since she was 1 week old but it comes and goes. We are currently battling cradle cap, but we are slowly getting rid of it. Hope your baby is well!!

Hi I had a daugher Willow on September 11th. I had her at home with my husband, midwife and mother in law. I was the most amazing joyous experiences of my life. We are both doing fantastically though i am tired as I also have 3 other children (all boys) Willow goes in for her second eye operation on tuesday to take out congenital cateracts so she doesn't smile or laugh as much as I would have like but I am used to that as 2 out of 3 of my boys have had the same thing. Sometimes it makes me feel a little sad but at least its only her eyes. She loves moving and is very interested in sounds and lights. I absolutely adore her and am so glad I have a little girl despite my apprehension during my pregnancy. Shes also a little piggy and loves her mummy milk and as grown alot and put on alot of chub.

Hi. My son Jayce was born Sept 18 by c-section. It had been my 2nd. My little man is doing great at 10 weeks he weighed 14.6 pounds. It seems he is a lot bigger then most babies born in same month. He looks huge to me but then my daugther was tiny. He smiles, giggles and talks his talk all the time. I was nervous to have a boy but am so glad I have a prince. Hope all is well

My son was born by unplanned c-section on September 27th. He was breech and appeared in the ultrasound to be very large. (he was born 8 pounds .3 ounces). He did great till he was 3 weeks old, then got acid reflux and began projectile vomitting. After trying several things we found that adding a little rice cereal to his milk works best, (doctor okayed this). This past weekend though we spent in the hospital due to an infection. We went in friday night, and after a few blood draws, a catheter, more blood draws, 2 heel pricks, an ultrasound, an x ray, and a spinal tap (yikes) they discovere he possible may have urinary reflux, where not all the pee comes out. We got home monday afternoon, and he seems to be doing much better. I'm just hoping we never have to go through that again. Luckily my mom was there to help me and Emery through it. Thank god for Grandmas! I sincerly hope none of you have to experience days like those.

Hi Kayla,
Gavin and I are great! 10 weeks and I've managed to get him sleeping through the night...9:30pm to 6:30am...thank goodness. My son never slept through the night. He is getting interested in things around him and starting to really recogonize mom and dad now. He smiles when we come into the room and gets so excited. He smiles all the time..he is such a great baby. I think he's starting to teeth. He bites on his fist and cry like he is in pain sometimes, but tylenol seems to help.
He loves his Baby Einstein Playmat. He is starting to hit at the toys which is pretty cool to watch. I also started putting him in his jumper for a few minutes a day to get him used to it. He likes it, but not for long.
How are you and your new baby doing??

My daughter Alex was born on 9/9/09 at 7lbs 10oz and is now almost 12 lbs. She has been such a great baby, only cries for food . However, last week she also came down with a cold and has been miserable. :( Coughing, sneezing, and crying a lot. But instead of sleeping the 6 hrs at night like she was, she is now sleeping 12 hrs! It's been great! She seems to be extra hungry now. She smiles so much and is starting to giggle, it's amazing how big of a smile that puts on a Mommy's face!

Things are all good on this end... :) My daughter has come down with her first cold on Tuesday, December 1st. A little cough and a congested nose. Sometimes at night, her breathing scares me... she sounds like she can barely breathe!

She has gained approx. 4 1/2 lbs since she was born... and she's in the 99% of her growth rate. She's a big girl.

I had a c-section... and honestly... I sometimes still feel the pain from the cut. I am still bleeding and sometimes feel very uncomfortable... but I don't let that get in my way. Got a baby, house, 2 dogs and a husband to look after... no time for mommy!

How are you and your lil' one doing?
