Our twins were born premature at 32 wks in Sept 2009 and I was wondering what other people's babies are weighing in at at 4 mos old? Just curious if our twins are now about the same size as a full term infant.

My son was born at 37 weeks weighing 5lb 14oz (lowest weight was 5lb 5oz) on 10th September.
He was weighed on 17th December (age 3mths 1 wk) at 10lb 11oz.
Smaller weight babies all catch up in size by the age of two.
Also just as some babies are at the top of the growth chart, you also have to have some of them near the bottom.

Our preemie twins were born at 33 weeks on 09/24/09. Our daughter is now 22" long and 11.75 lbs. Our son is now 21" long and is 9.33 lbs.

My son was born on the 17th of sep was 20 in and 7lbs a month ago he was 26in long and 16lbs. now it has been a month and hes bigger now.Hes been smiling since he was 2 weeks old. at 4 weeks hes been laughing. and now he laughs smiles throws things and hes new thing is screaming with a smile lol. he will be 4 months on the 17th of this month.

My son was born 09/09/09 :) He weighs 20 lbs 2 oz. Not sure how long, but wearing 12-18 months clothes!!!! We call him the moose. lol

I was 37 weeks 6 days when Ella was born. So we were full-term, however, she was only 5lbs 5oz when she was born! She just crossed over 4 months and is now 9lbs 9oz. Only in the 25th percentile. :( We have to get her "fat and sassy" according to the doctor. So reluctantly, I had to start her on cereal 2 times a day.

My baby was born at 38 weeks in september, now at 4 months she is 10lbs 8 oz... She is very petite.. she is breastfed and a good eater, just little... She is still growing into her 0-3 month clothes... Im not sure how long she is now, but last month she was 25 inches.. She is getting longer but not gaining much of that cute baby fat!!

Yay, Annie Rebecca! My son will be 4 months old on the 10th and he's the same size as your boy. Bustin' out of his 6 month clothes, a very long and large baby boy. When we weighed him in the middle of December, he was 18 lbs, I can only imagine how big he'll be at his next check up.

My baby went 1.5 weeks over the due date and was born on sept 2nd. He was 9lbs 13oz...now he is 4 months and 21 pounds (i just weighed him on my regular house scale).

My son was born at 34 weeks. He's about 14 lbs and 24 in now... Just at the 40th percentile. The doctors told me most premies catch up by the age of two, so I'm not being too concerned with his size right now. I'm happy just as long as he continues to grow.

my son was born sept 1st he weighted 6lb 4.1/2 oz i had him weighted 23rd of dec and he weighted 12lb he has only just gone into 3/6mnths clothing

ive not had my son weighed for a few weeks now. he turned 16 weeks thursday. when i last had him weighed he was 19lb 2oz so hes prob getting on for 20lbs now and yet hes not that chuncky just very long

My little girl was born sep 10th, 2 weeks late, at 17 weeks she was 15lb 12 and a half oz, not sure how long she is, she is in 0-3 and 3-6 month old clothing

My dauighter was born September 3rd so she is a little over 18 weeks and she is 13 lbs 2.5 oz and she is 24 inches tall. She is mostly in 3-6 month clothes.

My daughter was born on august 28 2009 she was only 5 days early n weighed 7lb 1oz...she went down to 5lb.7ozs in the first week...she was VERY alergic to breast milk and several kinds of formulas so for the first 9 weeks of her life she was VERY VERY sick and is just catching up now..she is 23 inches long and weighs just about 12 pounds...(my friend who had her daugher in october and was 6lb @ birth her daughter now weighs almost 17 lbs n she's 2 months younger) also a mother i know who had twin girls in september were 32 or 33 weeks @ birth thhey are identical twins but one is almost as big as her 3 month old neice the other is stil newborn size

My little man was last weighed and measured at 3 1/2 months at which time he weighed 15 lbs 4 oz and 24 inches long. He goes for his 4 month check-up on the 25th. We are starting to put away 3-6 and 6 month clothes and are integrating 9 month clothes into the rotation.

Thank goodness my son isnt the only Big Boy out there. He is 15 weeks and weighs about 19 pounds. Was 8lbs 2oz at birth on 9/22.

My little boy was born on September 6th and had his doctors appt yesterday. He weighed 14lbs 8oz. He can still wear some 0-3 month clothes. I guess it all depends on how they are cut because he can wear 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes too.

not sure how much my son weighs at the moment but 2 weeks ago he weighed in at 15lb 5oz. he was 4 months yesterday. he weighed 6lb 15 when he was born sept 7th (9 days early). he had to wear early baby clothes because newborn were massive he is now in 3-6 month clothes.

My twins were born Sept 23 at 37 weeks (full term), one was 5lb 5 oz, anqd the other 5 lb 11 oz. Now they are approx 12.5lbs and 13.5lbs. We are wondering if they are getting too heavy too quickly! But based on everyone elses comments I guess they are just right. I guess we'll see in 2 weeks at the doctor...

My little guy is 15.8 lbs 25.5 inches long... and is going to be 4 months on the 11th! He's wearing size 6 months clothing now...his 0-3 months clothing has been snug for a while. All those clothes are like new.

Brayden was 4 months yesterday on the 7th and weighed in at 13lb 12.25 oz. He is just below average for his age for both height and weight, but at 24.25" he is exactly average for height vs. weight.
He was 7lb 12 oz and 20.5" when he was born just four days before his due date.

my little guy was huge at birth, 10 lbs, 10.5 oz. (sept 4, 09) now he is 14lbs 6 oz at 4 months, i thought he was going to be such a big baby all the way up, lol. I'm glad thos, cause he is just big enough!
