i am wondering how you are able to find a mothers group as i am a working single mum with a 21 month old and wish i could get out and meet some other mums. but also is it to late as my little man is not a baby anymore?

In USA we have a program called Healthy Start that can connect you with other mothers, not sure if it is in other countries but just type that name in and google it for your area, and put an add in the paper, you can always start a play group at a park or ask a church to loan you an area to meet other kids and mums in.

You can go to meetup.com. I gave a 3.5 year old and a 1.5 year old and I just found a group in my area.

It's never too late to find a moms group. Look on meetup.com or you could find a MOPS group (Mothers of Preschoolers) that might meet in your community. For MOPS, you can go from birth to age 5. We are a military family, and we just moved to San Diego CA from Charleston SC and I had a GREAT group of friends in Charleston. Ever since moving here 6mo ago, I have not had a good group of friends and it is hard! I am still searching for that good group :). Good luck!!

M.O.P.s (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a great place to meet mothers. http://www.mops.org/ Its international so there is a good chance you can find a group near you. Also there is a good chance a church around you will have a single mothers group. My church does, and there is 0 requirement to be a Christian or join the church. Its never to late to meet Moms and single mothers groups will often have activities later in the day since they realized you awesome moms who do it all need to work. Best of luck!
