How often does your little one nap?

If we are home my little girl nap twice a day of about 1 1/2 hours long. Once she starts daycare she will be down to one nap a day.

my daughter has 2 naps a day for anywhere from 1/2 hour - 3 hours

hi my daughter 11mths,sleeps morning nap after breakfast usually 1 and a half to 2 hrs, then round 1.30 -2pm sleeps 2-2and a half hrs usually in bed at 6-6.30pm and sleeps to 6.45-7am.shes still having four bottles a day (formula) healthcentre sister said will cut back to 3 when i visit for the 12mth check!! She has a bottle after breakfast after lunch after tea, and one at 9.30-10pm this works well she doesnt wake at all during the nite i have been doing this since she was 4 mths old!!

MY SON WHO IS 2 AND MY DAUGHTER WHO IS ABOUT TO BE ONE THEY BOTH NAP AT 1 AND GET UP AT 3 THEN SOMETIMES MY 11 MONTH OLD WILL TAKE ANOTHER NAP AROUND 6 BUT FOR LIKE 30 MINS PLUS THEY TO GO BED AT 10 AND SLEEP UNTIL 10

My little one is a big baby and sleeps 6:45 - 7am overnight and has two 45min naps throughout the day. She changed her routine today and had 2 hours this afternoon. I didn't know what to do with myself. I am a WAHM and am so used to working with her on my lap... it was lovely to do it on my own.

hmmmm i dont think weight has anything to do with it my daughter is 25.4 and would be 11 months on the 29th of august but only sleeps 20 mins during the morning and another 30mins in the afternoon but she does sleep fro 7pm till 8 or 8:30am! the next day, all babies are different

My 11 mo. son just moved to 1 nap a day after lunch. He sleeps from noonish to around 2:30. He was doing 2 naps (10-11:30 and 3-4) but recently stopped taking the second nap.

Nicholas - 11 months on Aug 10 - sleeps 9pm to 9am. Usually takes a nap around noon for about an hour and then around 3 for about 2 hours. He does fine if we go out all day. Takes naps in car or stroller.

My son only takes one nap a day unless we are on the go all day. He sleeps from 10pm-10am and then usually goes down for a 2 hour nap around 1 or 2.

I don't think size has anything to do with how long your baby sleeps. My daughter was 16lbs 10oz at 4 months!! She is now 22lbs at 10 1/2 months.

It depends on what time Abby wakes up. I put her to bed around 8-9 usually and if we have somewhere to be and get up at 8am, she will take a short cat nap around 10. Her nap usually last for about 45-60mins. But if she had it her way, she'd sleep until 10am every morning! And then between 2-3, she takes a 2-3hr nap. She sleeps about 16hrs a day total.

I wish mine napped that much... I'll put her down about 10:30-11am for her first nap, and SOMETIMES she has one, sometimes she just plays but if she does sleep she usually wakes up 12:30-1pm and sometimes will have a short nap around 3 or4, but not often. If she doesn't slee in the morning she will in the afternoon.

I don't know if weight has anything to do with how long they sleep? My son is 24.7 lbs and sleeps 4 sometimes 5 hours during the day and sleeps his 12 hours at night.

Jessica, I didnt know size had anything to do with how long babies sleep, but that makes sense. Mine is just about 17lbs. She sleeps from 7pm until 7-8 am, though she wakes in the middle of the night once or twice for just a couple of minutes each, then she goes down for an hour or so nap an hour after she wakes up, then takes 2-3 more hour long naps through out the day.

my twins sleep from about 6.45-6 then feed and go back down til about 8.30. they then sleep from 10 for about 2 hours then from 2 for about an hour. So they sleep a lot lol. i guess it depends on how big she is as well. my two are only 16lb so they sleep a lot more. :)

My son also takes two naps a day, one after breakfast and one after lunch or snack, depending on our schedule for that day. Usually each nap is between 1-2 hours. And he sleeps about 10 hours at night.

My little guy sleeps 7:30pm-6am. Goes down for a nap around 9am (45 minutes to an hour) and then again at 1pm (usually 1 1/2 to 2 hours). So we have 2 naps a day. Hard to get anything done outside of the house when you have to plan for tired babies, huh?

My son takes a nap around 10:30am & he will sleep anywhere from an hour to two hours. Around 3:00ish I try to get him down for another nap, but sometimes he flat out refuses lol. If he takes an afternoon nap it's only about an hour long. He sleeps around 11 hours a night also.

mine's the same - he has two naps that are an hour and then one that is two hours, as well he sleeps 11 hours through the night...i tried to cut one of his naps and he was having none of it, so as long as it doesn't interfere with his night sleep i'm just going to let him keep on with them :)
