My daughter Arden is 6 months and 1 week old, had her health nurse check today and is 72 cms (28 inches) long! being in the top 3% for her age! and weighs 8.07kgs (17.7lbs) she is almost in "toddler" size nappies (huggies) is wearing a size 0-1 in clothing, and only a size 2 shoe! what are your 6 month old babies in length and weight? and clothing size?

My baby boy is 6 Months old, and just had his check up. He is 21 lbs and almost 30 inches. Doctor says he's huge lol. He is in 12 and 18 mth clothes.

wow! My daughter is turnin 7 months in a wk or so n she just had he doc visit n they said she's averagin at the normal size 13 month old!!! she's only 21lbs but 36 inches long, size 3 shoes n wearing 12-18 clothes!!

My Elijah Jace was 28 inches and 21 pounds at his six month check up. He wears a 2T outfit quite nicely. Every time I am going to buy him a new set of clothes I hold up the 2T and think, "Nah! It''ll be too big for him." Then, I buy it because it seems to be his size. Lo and behold, when I put it on him, it fits him perfectly.

My daughter will be 7 months in 2 days and she's 29.52 inches (75cms),weighs 7.85 kgs (17.3lbs) She's still in crawler nappies and wearing size 0. Only size 1 shoe still. (She has little feet) Because she's so tall but still within average weight range, Her clothes are usually wide on her but just the right length. If she wears the smaller size that fits in width, it will be too short and when she lifts up her arms, pretty much half of her belly shows.

My son is now 7 months old. He is 21 pounds, 28 inches long. 18 month clothing. Size 4-5 diapers. 18 month to 36 month socks. 4 in shoes. Already crawling, and using a sippy cup. Almost off the bottle. And has 2 teeth. He's growing up TO fast. :(

my little man is also almost 28 inches and just over 18 lbs he wears size 12 in most everything,, still has a couple 9 month sleepers but that's about it. his shirts are usually too big in torso, but just right in arm length and pant length at 12 month size too.

im right there with you! my little guy on his 6 month appt. was weighing in just under 18 lbs. and was 28 1/2 inches long. that was a month ago...the doctor says he's going to be long and lean! :)

My son turned 6 mos on the 16th, had his appt April 1, he was 27 inches and 19 pounds. Apparently, both are only in the 70th percentile. His head, on the other hand....90th percentile! lol

I feel you my son Michael turned 6 months March 10th. We went for his check-up on the 18th He was 28 1/2 in. and 20 lbs 2 oz.

my son is 6.5 months old he's 23lbs and 28.5 inches, most clothes are 12-18months and wears size 4 shoe and size 3 diaper next box is size 4, he's a big boy!!

Silas was 17.8 lbs at his 6 month! (He' sprobably about 18 lbs now at 6 months 1 week & 5 days) He was 28 1/2 in long about a week after his 6 month checkup. He wears size 2-3 diapers ( kind of in transition right now). He wears 6-9 month shirts & onesies ( he can still fit into some 3-6 month though). He wears 12 month pants in length ( i have to find small waisted pant or put a belt on him since he's small waisted). He wears a size 3 shoe. He's in 12 month PJ's. He's long & thin just like his Daddy :)

My daughter will be 7 months on Easter and we had a check up a couple weeks ago. She was about 29 1/2 in long and 18 lbs. 8 oz. She is currently wearing 6 months clothes just fine but 9 months fit well too. She is a size 3 in huggies diapers- lil big but the size 2's were getting too snug

Mine is very long also. He turned 6 months on the 13th. He is 29.5 inches long and is 18 lbs (almost exactly). They are concerned with his weight though. He's been dropping in the percentile since he was born. He never stops moving though so I can't imagine it's that bad.

My daughter is 15 pounds, 10 ounces and 26 1/2 inches long. I was putting her in 9 month clothing, but she is too long for pants so I have tried 12 month and they work perfectly! We are switching to 12 month for good!!

sounds like a lot of heallthy strong september babies out there. My son was exactly 20 pounds at his 6 month checkup and 29 inches long. Clothes size really varies depending on brand...its pretty crazy! he has been in the 95% for everything since the day he was born so atleast he is consistent! :) He also just outgrew size 3 shoes and needs a 4! insane!

My baby turned 6 months on the 20th and at her well baby, she was 20 pounds, 28 inches, she wears a 3 diaper (could probably fit into a 4 with a little extrra room) and wears from 9 month to some 12 month clothes!!! Size 2 shoe fits as well.

my son turned 6 months on the 22nd and weighed 16 lbs 8 ounces (which his big brother weighed at 4 months) but he is 29 inches. Suprisingly he was 10 lbs 9 oz at birth which we still dont understand how he was that big so he still has not doubled his birth weight but he loves to eat! My older son too is very thin but tall and loves to eat! My 6 mos old wears mostly 6-9 month clothes but for one piece outfits, overall and pajamas he wears 12 months, size 2 diapers and size 2 shoes fit him but he doesnt really ever wear them. He has already grown out of his infant car seat so we are going to get a convertable one for him.

My baby was born Sept 20th at 7#'s 4 oz. My baby is small now she is only 13#'s and 25cm. She is only on breastmilk and doesn't want to eat anything else. When she eats she throws up alot so she is taking something for Acid Reflux right now hopefully she will gain some weight.

My son Adam was weighed just after he turned six months he was 71 cms and weighs 21lbs he is in size 4 nappies(huggies natural fit) but nearly busting out of them I put a 6-9 outfit on him today and it was too small same with his babygrows we have to get him 9-12month ones now, i dont put shoes on him but he has big feet aswell, takes after his daddy he is 6ft 4

My daughter turned 6 months on the 21st and she is still wearing 3-6 month clothing. I think she is long and thin. Our appointment is next week. So...we shall see what she measures. Everyone tells me she looks big.

My son was 6 months on the 13th of March. He is 19.3 lbs, 28 and 3/4 inches long. he wears size 3 diapers and mostly 6-9 month clothing although the pants tend to be short on him!! But anything bigger is too big on the waste!!! You just can't win... As for shoe size he is a size 2 or 3.

My daughter was born September 24th and as of last week she messured 29 and 1/4 inches but she is only 15.6 lb. At two months the doctor told me that she was just going to be tall and lean, just like her Daddy! Because she sure as heck didn't get her height from me (i'm only 5 foot). She still wears size 2 diapers and she is a mix between all sizes. Her 3-6 month onsies are getting tight but still fit BUT her 3-6 month footed PJ's DO NOT fit.. and her 6-9 month ones are still too big.

My son was 6 months old on the 8th and is 19lbs 5ozs and 26.5 inches long. He is in anywhere from 6-12 month clothing. He is in size 4 pampers (22-37lbs). He has HUGE thighs and a long torso so some clothing under 12 months no longer fit him. And smaller diapers dont work very well cuz of his thighs. He my lil chunky monkey!!

My daughter is almost 7 months... 18lbs and 27 inches long. She actually still fits in some 3 month old outfits... might be a little short though. And she's wearing size 2 shoes... almost in a 3. Diapers are size 3. :o)

Kaylee just had her 6 month checkup. She is 28 inches long and 19.8 lbs! wear anywhere from 6 months to 12 month size and size 3 diapers. Dr says she's perfectly proportioned. She's gonna end up taller than me!

My son Trenton is the total opposite!! He is short and chubby!! Poor little guy,He turned 6 months on 3/20. He is 19lbs and 26 3/4 inch long. He wears size 3 diapers and ranges from 2 tennis shoes and 3 boots. He wears 9mth onesies and 6-9 month pants and shirts, and some 12 months clothes too!! :) Dr. said he is healthy and right on track so I am not worried!! I am 5'3 and his dad is 6'2 so we will see how tall he will be :)

hey congrats.....my son is 6 months old and is 69cms tall and weighs 7.95kgs. Wanted an advice that have you been able to set up a schedule for your little one and does she sleep through the night. My son used to sleep through the night but not nowadays and am trying to set up his routine during the day. If you could advice it will be great. thanks!

Hi Katie, Arden is just lovely! My daughter Ava is a little one was only 2.6kg/ 5 lb 12oz but long for her weight at 49.5cm/ 19.48in when born. She was weighed yesterday and is 7.5kg/16lb 53oz and measures 67cm/26.37in
