Hi there! I just joined. My name is Kerry and my twins were born on the 15th September 4 weeks early. A girl and boy.

Due to being twins they are possibly a little behind but since starting pre-school their speech has come on, probably because no on else could decipher their twin talk!

Twin one has been potty trained since 2 years old...nothing to do with me, she does did it all by herself but twin 2 I am going to start this summer, but being a boy he is lazier!

Hello everyone!My name is Kristin and my Sept 09 munchkin is Sophie.I had to join this group because not only do I have a 9/09 baby but one of her nicknames is Munchkin.The other one is Boogie because she used to kick her feet like she was dancing when she was a baby.Sophie is now a big sister to my 3 month old son,Charlie(named after the Willy Wonka movie character).My munchkin is always full of energy and questions.She is also very intelligent.She can spell her name,recite the alphabet,count to ten,and have conversations w adults using large words.She is one of those" 2 going on 20" kids who's full of personality.We are still working on potty training probably due to her brother's arrival.Sophie likes to help me with Charlie,cooking,and cleaning.Everyone tells me she is so well mannered and sweet and speaks well for her age.A funny fact about our family is that our bdays are all similar and close.Sophie was born on Sept 4th,mine is Oct 4th,and although my labor was induced on my bday this past yr-Charlie was born on Oct 5th.Isnt that funny?!And their dad/my hubby was born in August so the birthdays are back to back.

Hi! I am Lacey and my son is Louie. He was born 9/9/09. We live about 20 minutes outside of Boston. Right now we are getting ready for our 3rd xmas together. It is so much fun now that he is old enough to participate in holiday traditions. Louie is very extroverted, constantly talking now that he can! We started him in speech therapy when he turned two because he was behind in his speech. It has only been 4 months and he is speaking in sentences. Louie loves to go to the park and run around. At home he likes to color with his crayons, mold snakes and balls with play dough and watch his favorite shows on nick jr.

Hi im Ellen and my daughter Makenzie was born September 6th 2009. She is quite the handful. She loves to help clean even though it seems like she's uncleaning. But it's so cute watching her push a broom or stand on a chair with me at the sink and play in the bubbles. She's so energetic and never seems to want to slow down. Right now she's trying to master the potty. We've had some successes but mostly misses.

Hello all! I don't know about you all, but I think there was definitely something happening in the cosmos in 9/09!
the only way to descibe my daughter Piper is, "on fire!"
She NEVER slows down! I am amazed at her tenacity and energy. the only other characteristic that is so descriptive is how loving and sweet she is.
She is almost 2 now and just talkstalks,talks! She counts--almost to 10 and all I can say is she is a sponge! I love her dearly, but some days I wish I had a less hard-core kid. She just never stops! anyone else feel this way?????

Hi im Victoria and i gave birth to my only child Adrian on the 22/9/09, he is almost 22 months and has just started saying "no" to everything i ask, he knows about 15 different words which is a little delayed for him at his age or so im told, but im not to worried now that he is in nursery :) he learnt to walk a week after his 1st birthday, iv only got 2 problems with him at the mo, he keeps slapping me and will just not settle when i put him down for his nap or when its time for bed...other than that he is a happy chappy and iv enjoyed every min being with him :) xx

I'm Daphne I gave birth to my second child, Lily, on 9/22/09 and then two months later brought my third child, Leena, home who was born 9/28/09. They were like having twins. Lenna's adoption was finalized last week, she is having issues with speech delays, but we have her in speech therapy and she is slowly getting further along. Lily is doing really well and is a bit ahead developmentally. I also have a four year old who just wishes his sisters would quit chewing on his toys :)

Hi My name is Tamara My one and only baby girl was born on the second.She was a week early.But perfect in every way! She took her first step a week before her first birthday and has been non stop ever since. She sing's Justin Bieber "baby" all the time.I even got it on video on our youtube page. She can count to three and she say's ever 25 different words.I have counted and she uses them on a daily basis as well. She can climb up the steps. She loves to color/scribble. Muchkin is infatuated with Yo Gabba Gabba.That is going to be her theme for her second birthday.She love swimming.And she can dance to every beat you give her. haa.She has been in the toddler bed since she was 14 months old and off the bottle since she was 13 months old. I am just excited to see what else she learns in the future.

Hi everyone! My name is Amy and I have a beautiful daughter named Peyton. She was born on September 25, 2009. She is so smart and so grown! She loves to have me read her a book. She can count to 10 (however all you can understand is 1, 2, 6 & 10 .. lol) she has just started trying to sing the alphabet song (which you can not really make out either) I am a stay at home mom so we spend a lot of time trying new things. I also attend school full time so I am always very busy. My daughter is my world. She is my only child so far however I have a niece that is the same age (was born on 9/29/09 - four days apart) but she lives about 2hrs away. I have another niece or nephew that will be born in September of this year so that must be a lucky month. My mothers birthday is 9/20 so she loves it.

My name is Jenna and I had my twin girls on 9/19/09, 3 months before they were due (12/21/09). They weighed 1lb 14oz and 2lbs 1oz. They are doing great now. My daughter Kiera still requires oxygen at night but is walking without assistance and doing great. Lily hasnt required any oxygen since 1 week after birth. she is walking as well.

Hi! I'm a stay at home mom and love being able to spend so much time with my son. It does wear me down at times but the hubby is great at taking over in the mornings and after dinner, so I can have some me-time. My son Matthew hasn't said any definite words, but he's always babbling with his "mamama's" and "dadada's", so he's working on it! He makes up for it by being active though! He's always on the move, running around, getting into everything, and climbing any stairs he can find.

Hey I'm Fotini and I have twin girls- Zoe & Chrsitina who were born on 9-28-09 in Athens, Greece. Since then we have moved back to my hometown of Chicago. Hi! My son is Lake, born Sept 24, 2009, he's my first. He is a weird, strong-willed, loving, lovable boy! He has 8 teeth (four on top, four on bottom) that he cut one right after the other. He has been walking since 10 months (ahhhhh!!!) and is already giving us plenty of laughs with his antics and attempts at words. His favorite phrase is 'oh wow' that he says constantly but in context! I'm 26, married to my husband for just over a year and we are expecting another on April 24.
