Let's introduce ourselves!

Hello! My name is Magda (aka Maggie) and my baby boy was born on the 12th of September. I am a newbie to this site, but very excited to have a community such as this one to discuss the numerous issues and questions that we all seem to have.



Currently, I work full time, as does my husband. Our son stays at home with a relative who graciously renders care. He is on the brink of sitting on his own and starting solids (@ 4 1/2 mo).



Of particular interest to me are alternative vaccine issues, healthy feeding, child care options, stress-free parenting (or the idea of it) and, off course, the different stages of development (i.e. milestones).

Hi!

My name is Cheri' (sure-ree). I have a son, his name is dennis daniel, we call him denny! he was born after 27 hrs of labor on september 8ths 2009 at 12:24 am. he weighed 6lbs 15.7oz and 20.75 inches long! he was due the 14th, but we were also going through purchasing a house; which was very stressful do to our dumb mortgage broker... we closed on our house the 3rd and had him the 8th, i think i was just sooo relieved! lol i love being a mom and speding all the time i can with him! he truely is the best thing that has ever happened to me! i may be young but i am very wise and independent for my age! you can say i grew up very fast! i am only 21 but i do own my own house, have a great career in hair styling and a beautiful son that makes my life even better!

Hi, I'm Breanna... A 25 year old first time mom to a wonderful baby boy< Hucker. I had a wonderful, easy pregnancy... so easy, he decided to just hang out for an extra 2 weeks. I went into the hospital to be induced, but ended up going into labor. I had a wonderfully quick natural birth. Hucker loves to clap, suck on his toes and eat avacodos. I started going back to school to be a certified nurse midwife. thankfully we have lots of family members and a wonderful dad to help while I do school work, like they say, it takes a village to raise a child.

Hi i am Karen im 31 and had my first son Liam on 2nd Sep 09 and he is the best thing to ever happen to me, he weighed 9lb 4oz and was 2wks overdue but worth the wait, i went through a hellish labour and after 16hrs had to have an emergency c section which i was disapointed about but i guess thats life , ive not had a very good time of it with my scar ever since but apart from that i love motherhood, my wee prince is on 3 solid meals a day and loves his fruit n veg , he will not eat baby jars etc everything has to be fresh for him, he is non stop from the min he gets up until he goes to bed at night an tires me out, h saso up twice during the night and just wondered if any1 had any tips on how to get him to sleep right through xx

Hello everyone,

My son was born 9/24 at a whopping 10 lbs 4 oz. I had a c section and gained a lot of weight which I am losing at a slow and steady pace. I am a new stay at home mom and the little guy is not a sleeper and very active butthe cutest thing ever!

He is now having gerber first stages veggies at 7am and rice cereal at 6:30 before his 7:30 bedtime and bath. This had been a long long NYC winter and I am so ready for the spring!

My daughter was born September 29th. She was 9lbs 5oz. and 20 inches long. She was 12 days overdue, did NOT want to come out! Right now she is wiggling all over the place, almsot sits up on her own, she loves to stand up, she's got 3 teeth already (got them at beginning of February, 4 months old), She likes tummy time, she knows what to do to crawl but just can't get her arms to lift her body up lol she lovers her fruits and veggies. Her favourites are Bananas, Peas, Sweet Potatoes and Green Beans, For the longest time I couldn't get her to even eat thr fruit, she only would want the veggies.. She is so silly! She sleeps the whole night through, always laughing and smiling and chattering away to me,, She's the most amazing baby we could have asked for and we love her so much! She now weighs almost 16lbs and is 26inches long :)

Hello all!! I have a 5 month old son born 09/14 and he was 6lbs 2 oz 19 1/2 inch long. Hes a small baby but he is very active and always wants to stand and hates tummy time!! He is on formula still but we put cereal in the bottle and he also eats fruits and sweet potatoes. Ive tried him on veggies however he gags ans spits the veggies out! Meats are too thick for him so Im trying to slowly introduce him to just ceareal alone. I also have a daughter that is 6yrs old but shes a July baby! Im new to this site and figured I would give it a try. Talk to you guys soon!

I'm a bit late to this.....But my names Naomi, i'm 19 & my son Beau was born a week late on 12/09/09 via emergency c. He was 9lb4oz and had blood sugar & breathing problems. He is all good now and at 5 months old is rolling around everywhere and getting close to crawling. He also sits up by himself for a few seconds sometimes. It would be good to know what all the September babies are up to :)

Hi everyone, my name is Courtnay and I am a mother of 2. My little princess was born on Sept 25 2009 2 days after her due date. Her name is Nyah and she is the perfect addition to our family. Nyah loves to put everything in her mouth, I am sure she is teething already. Nyah likes to roll around on the floor, she still gets stuck sometimes :) She loves to laugh and likes it when we sing to her!! Nyah has the greatest big brother his name is Reece and he is 7 yrs old. I was worried about the age difference but they play lots together and Reece loves his little sister very much and he likes to do whatever he can to help out.

Hi! I'm Jenelle. I'm new to Circle of Moms. I had my daughter Grace on 9/9/09 (not planned). She just turned 5 months old yesterday, and actually has her first illness( RSV). :(



Developmentally, we're working on crawling and ma-ma, da-da, ba-ba sounds. She sits up on her own and rolls over in both directions! I'm very excited about everything happening with her!

Well, I had a baby due Sept 2009. I am a bit late to the game--he's over 4 mos old now!! I am excited to hear what other babies his age are up to and to get (and offer) any expertise other mommies have. My Ethan is the youngest of 4 and he is a chubby, happy, much loved little man. He is teething something terrible. He grabs for things really well and straight to the mouth they go. We are hoping he will roll over soon!

Hi! I'm Cristina and I had my daughter the 29th of September. She was really due in October but came right at 29 weeks and my labor with her was amazing. She was 7 pounds and 11.5 ounces which was huge compared to my twins from the previous year that were 5 pounds 0.5 ounces and 6 pounds 4.6 ounces. :)

hiya everyone,

i had my sasha on the 12th september, (13days late i might add) she wieghed 8lb5 and she got wieghed the other week and shes now 18lb8oz! shes so chatty and bubbly, and shes smiling, giggling and blowing rasberry's at everyone!

i have started my own mum an baby group on the wirral, it's really good fun!

Hi, my name is Jennifer, I turned 32 two days before my little angels Hannah and Caitlyn were born on the 16th of September. They are the loves of my life along with my husband and our boxer biscuit. The girls are currently working on turning over, but mostly they are exploring with their hands right now. It is so cute the way that they run their little fingers through my husband's beard when he is feeding them, and they caress their dollies heads when I rub their little cheeks. Caitlyn currently is trying to type with me right now :) lol

Hi, my name is Melissa and I just turned 29. My husband and I welcomed our son, Chance into the world on Sept. 25th of 2009 after four days of labor and then an emergency c-section. We are all happy and healthy and considerably grateful for being able to be together. I am new to being a mommy as this is my first but thus far I think I got a wrangle on the situation! Yay me!

Kimberly - There's a conversation posted with the title 'Rolling Over' that has a lot more advice that I can offer. Just know that it is normal and some babies never roll over. Things to try are laying down next to her while she does tummy time, using her favorite toys, and/or mirrors for her to see herself. I'd look under the Due in Sept conversation list for the above title to get more advice. :)

I'm Elizabeth. I'm a first time mom and the whole experience has been amazing. My son Corwin was due October 3 but was delivered on September 12 by emergency c-section. He was 9lbs and 12 oz so perhaps it was helpful that he was born 3 weeks early. It was a struggle at first because he was born with low blood sugar and never took to breastfeeding. But he is healthy and happy and loves people and immediately smiles at strangers. A month ago he pulled himself up into a standing position, but I think it will be a while before he crawls, much less walks. Nice to meet you!

Hi im Alaina. My baby girl Skye was born on 09/09/09, i had to be induced because i had too much amniotic fluid. I also ripped quite badly and had 40 minutes worth of stitches. She weighed 7lb 8oz.

Skye is great, everyone has always commented on how alert she is. She has been able to stand on her own against the sofa for quite a few weeks now. Very strong on her legs! She loves food! She's amazing, i love her so much :)
