I already took him to the doctors and they gave him cough syrup, I also am running a humidfier at night with some vicks vapor liquid inside of it. Any other suggestions to help break up the congestion in his chest?

Thank you for your suggestion(s). I ended up having to get a breathing machine to help clear out his lungs. He is doing much better now and back to normal.

When my daughter was wheezing - usually after feeding I found that she kept some formula in her mouth and was rattling it in her sleep. A good burp might help if that is it. When my daughter was sick, I would place a towel under the mattress to evelate her head and used baby vicks on her chest, neck and back. That helped.

My son is wheezing as well! I went to the docs yesterday about it. He asked if anyone smokes in the house, i told him no. He asked if we have any pets, i said 2 dogs. He also asked if there are any stuffed animals in his crib, i said no. He asked if anyone in the family has asthma, i said no. But, both our families have huge allergies. He is sending our little guy to a pediatrician who specializes in allergies to find out the cause. They are going to call me back with the date of the appoinment, and i will let you know what is causing my little guy's wheezing, and constant stuffed nose.
