I have noticed that every since I started nursing my little girl (who is now 6 months old) a muscle in back has been getting rather large because of the added weight to my breasts from nursing. I had been using the sleeping bras from Target on a regular basis because they were so comfortable, but the muscle in back looks very unattractive and I was thinking of switching to an underwire bra to get more support. Though I have read that wearing one of those may cause problems with my nursing. So I was just wondering if any moms had any advice on this issue. Thank you!

Hi! I wear a wire nursing bra during the day, I got it from a destination maternity. I don't have any problems as far as it slowing my milk supply or mastitis. I wear one that I bought from walmart with no wire at night to sleep in.

Yeah that's why I was wearing the sleeping ones since they are super comfy and have no wires at all. Thank you for the website though, I will look it up and see if I can a bra that's comfortable and helps distribute the weight better.

Yea I was wearing sleeping bras from babies r us, but I was told about a website called lactation connection, they carry all sizes of bras. I love the bra I got, no underwire (wires can cut down ur milk supply and give you mastitis).
