refusual of cows milk in sipper cup!!!

The doc actually told me to do half and half with milk and formula cuz my girl hated milk too ! so i tried that once then started puttinga lil bit of vanilla syrup in the milk then went to just milk and it worked but she would prefer it warmed up she hates cold milk lol

Thanks i did keep persisting and yes she will drink it know in a sipper cup not a cup full but we are drinking more and more so thats good!

Have you tried giving her cows milk in the same bottle that she has formula in? My 13month old has cows milk in the same bottle he had formula, although I hand no trouble getting him to switch.
Repetition helps as well, just keep trying to give her cows milk before you settle for formula, and make really exaggerated sounds when she does drink some cows milk, this will make her feel as though she has done something good and encourage her to keep drinking it.
Its not a problem if she doesn't take to it for a while some babies will take a little longer to get used to the substitution. My nephew didn't start drinking cows milk until he was almost 2.
But if you are getting concerned at her lack of interest in cows milk, you can see your doctor about it to see what they would recommend.

Jakob had the same problem...he flat refused for almost 2 entire weeks! We diluted bottles w/milk before putting him strictly on milk so he was already used to the taste before the switch to sippies! I tried a half a dozen cups before I found one he would KINDA drink from! Then it took another 2 wks before he would maybe drink half...he still doesn't drink that much :( This has also caused a dive in his weight gain, only .4lbs from 9mos to 12 mos! So I have yet to take away his bedtime bottle...I was going to wait and see what his gain was @ 18 mos before I took it away all together. His brother also refused milk in a sippy and still to this day won't drink milk...Jakob ♥s milk though and gets real cranky if he doesn't have any...unfortunately the little bub is sick right now and has puked up after 1/2 hr from his bedtime bottle the last 2 nights :( Good luck!

My son used to be the same way. I just always had a sippy of whole milk around. When I offered him a drink, I would offer the milk first and just kept offering, offering, offering. When he did take a drink, I made a really exagerrated Awwwww sound and tried to make the milk sound super delicious. He still prefers to drink diluted juice or water out of a sippy but will drink the milk now too. It took about 4 weeks. In the meantime, I fed him alot of yogurt and cheese to supplement the dairy in his diet.

My son is 13 months and won't drink milk out of a cup either. I have tried differnent cups and different types of cups but he will only drink it out of a bottle. My doctor also told us when we were in the process of switching it over to try half milk and half formula so that might get them to take it and maybe just reduce the amount of formula a little over time until they don't notice that its gone.

My daughter will not drink cow's milk either! I have tried putting a little bit of strawberry syrup, chocolate, and malt in it and nothing has worked! She is on soy formula so I don't know if that matters. Even if I put a little milk in her formula she won't drink it. Has anyone tried soy milk?

my son is now 13months old and no matter what i try he will not have cows milk, i keep trying it every day in sipper cups and bottles but he just spits it out , has anyone tried giving half formula and half cows milk ? i dont know what else to try

does she drink water out of the same sipper cup?? my lil guy has to have diff cups for each liquid he drinks...i dont know why but after he wouldnt drinks cows milk out of a sipper cup i simply tried a diff cup. so he has his formula for bed in his bottle, water with a straw type sipper cup and cows milk with a "normal" sipper cup... each to there own though. have fun testing!! :)
