Just wondering if any babies are crawling yet. My daughter (sept 30th) has been rolling both ways for a long time and is now rocking back and forth on all fours for a couple of weeks, but no crawling yet...do they crawl soon after doing this???!!!!

Karie was born on 9-11 and she has been crawling for almost a month now. She has also learned to pull herself up to try to stand. She can sit all by herself. Im not sure im ready for the walking stage.

That rocking back and forth is a sure sign. She's gonna start going backwards next. Probably it's going to frustrate the hell out her. Then she may start scooting forward and low crawling on her belly. And then all of a sudden, boom. She'll be across the room and you'll be exhausted. Enjoy her lack of mobility while you can ; ) My son started crawling a couple of weeks ago and is now pulling himself up and walking (!!) along the couch and coffee table. The doc says he's way ahead of schedule though.

My girl (sept 13th) has been doing the rocking back and forth and the seal crawl for a month now. She just started crwling about 5 days ago. So it goes pretty quick, but they are all different.

Orla was born 22nd Sept & isn't crawling yet, she can sit unaided & loves to stand whilst holding my hands or be in her door bouncer & walker. She can roll onto her tummy but is unable to roll back & will not tolerate being on tummy for long so will start crying. When on front she will lift her chest off floor or with head down have bum off floor with knees under her.

My Bella was born 9/21 and doesn't crawl yet.. but she rolls where ever she needs to go. She can literally get across the room by rolling in a minute or two.. it's so cute. And she flips over really fast. When ever she wants something out of her reach she some how scoots to it... or uses something to pull her self to it i.e the blanket she's on lol. I'm sure she'll be crawling within the next month!

Cole was born Sept. 29 and hasn't started to crawl yet. He does sit up on his own and rolls from tummy to back and back to tummy a lot and sometimes put his legs under him like he's getting ready to get up and crawl but just falls to his side. But he rolls around to where ever he wants to go but it will be any month now before he starts to crawl cause he does not like to stay in one place for long LOL between you and me I am not looking forward so much to him crawling cause he is going to be keeping me busy running around after him LOL

My baby 9/16 hasnt started crawling yet. She always moves her legs like she wants to, but her arms just sit there. My husband has tried to lift her up on her arms to help a bit, but she is not interested....

Celia was born on the 22nd. Not quite crawling yet. But almost there. She does this worm action at the moment. Streches out her arms, tucks her legs underneth, pushes up and then kick which pushes her forward. Once she's set her eyes on something she wants to grab. She'll go for it. So I think very soon she'll be crawling.

joel 24, sept doesnt seem bothered about crawling, but ten my first child didnt learn to crawl until after he learnt to walk and use to walk around with the furniture for ages, they all do it when they want to , so just enjoy while you can .

My daughter born Sept 1st just started to crawl a bit, just a few scoots here and there, not full out crawling though. Our first daughter took longer and was 8 mos before she truly crawled so don't worry she will get it soon. If you ask me it's better when they aren't mobile because they can't get into anything! :) They grow up too fast so just enjoy her and don't rush it.

Liam (born on the 11th) isn't crawling yet, but he does manage to get himself from here to there...usually when I'm not looking so I'm still not quite sure how he does it! One reason he may be a little late is the fact that he weighs 20 pounds... (95th percentile). He sure is strong though, so i'm sure it's only a matter of time!

My boys are crawling, they started crawling backwards first, they sit on their own before crawling forward, trying to pull up on stuff, but they both are very lazy, I am trying to get them out of that mood

9-13-09 crawls everywhere, stands, babbles, holds his bottle, rolls over, and sits up alone. Dont worry about it. A baby who crawls at 6 months might not be a walker till 18 months. Yours will get it when it's ready.

Mine can push himself backwards, drag himself forwards (both using all arm strength), and get up on hands and knees and rock back and forth. He's not a true crawler yet, but he does get himself around, and I think he will be crawling any day... and I'm not ready!! (Neither is the house, or the dog!!)

My daughter (born on Sept 3) just started doing the army crawl the past few weeks. She doesn't get up on her knees at all just uses her arms to pull herself forward and then tries to kick off with her feet. She's getting pretty good at it though - manages to get across the room to whatever it is she wants. And she's getting some pretty good rug burns on her forearms!
