We want to start potty training our daughter but aparently they dont make pull ups smaller than size 3 or 4. My daughter wears a size 2 diaper. And in undies the smallest Ive seen is a size 2T-3T. My daughter is very slim, she wears a size 6 month shorts. Does anyone know of anywhere they have small undies or a brand that has smaller pullups?

I actually found some pretty cute undies at Dillards in the little girls section. They say size 3 on them, but they are a thicker cotton so they are super tiny! They aren't all loose fitting like the ones you get from Walmart and etc. :)

My daughter is almost 2 now and wearing 18 months. I actually bought these undies for her when she was wearing a size 12 month... because they were TOO cute :) and they fit perfect.

These are the ones I got her:

If you search for small toddler under pants you will find a few site there are 12 months and 18 months are there smallest. If I can find the sites I will send them to you. Haven't heard of smaller pull up my daughter was way too small for them too used slip on diapers just so she got the idea of pulling them up and down.

My daughter is 2 1/2 but only a size 6-9 months, for us we used the panties from her summer dresses. They work really well and she gets to wear "big girl panties like KJ (her sister)". Good Luck

my daughter is small, but not that small. She wears size 4 diapers, but only because we need them to hold more. (She fits a size 3 fine) I have just used the 2t training panties and I roll them up at the top to keep them up and on her, though she's so active it sometimes doesn't matter.

I heard that Gap XS panties are smaller than a 2t. My nieces are very slim so my sister-in-law recommended them to me because it looks like me daughter will be in the same situation soon. best of luck!

There is a brand called potty scotty/potty patty. I have a very small daughter as well & we found these in smaller sizes and they shrunk more in the wash. Pottytrainingconcepts.com carries them or you can google potty patty to find other retailers.

I think my Mom got some for my son that are size 2T at Kohls. He's almost three years old and the smallest we've been able to find are 3/4 and they are HUGE on him. Good luck!

Hannah Andersson makes small ones. We had the same problem and found these were the best size. Fortunately for us we have an outlet nearby so they were only $4 a pair. I also got cloth training pants on Amazon - the brand lovable friends - that are small enough on the waist, still a little big around the legs but at least they don't fall down. Good luck!

I found size 18 months training pants by Gerber on Amazon. My daughter is also quite small. Good luck.

Might sound silly but you could try dolls clothes? Or even making some or having them made? That way you could get some iron on transfers of whatever your daughter is into (Dora etc) and let your daughter pick the fabric so they're extra special to her so that she really doesn't want to mess in them :P Good Luck

Sue, I found undies at Kmart... or was it Target. *I'm second guessing myself because it wasn't my usually shopping centre*. anyway. they went all the way to size 0000, They have some great prints like bambi and winnie the pooh and I'm sure i got them for less than $10 for a pack of 3.

Edited to add: In Australia

They make the thicker training undies for babies. I think it's by gerber. I'm pretty sure walmart carries them.

I had the same dilemma...my daughter is just SUPER skinny, we have done the bloomers for her dresses, I found some gerber size 2t training pants that I was able to shrink enough so that if she first puts them on they stay on her ok, but the more she moves they fall down. We cloth diaper, so I don't know about pull ups or anything. I've heard good things about these....but they are a little expensive. Good luck!

Oh, another possible solution would be to buy the 2t training pant's and use snappi's to hold them properly...yet another link.

The bloomers is a great idea- I also thought about the covers for the cloth diapers. Size 2 swimmers are too big too unfortunately!

What about using bloomers from dresses for her panties? Ask to use outgrown ones from friends and family? Could you use size two swim diapers for pull ups?

They wont shrink enough- she might be stuck wearing huge undies or diapers for a while longer.

My daughter has size 00 undies. We bough them from a store here in Australia called Kmart. Might not be much help to you, but its owned by the same people as Target.
