I had boy girl twins so we had to come up with two names. We chose Declan (from a character on neighbours) but struggled with a girls name we agreed on. finally the day i went into labour my partner agreed with my childhood dolls name, Isabella.

it wasnt until a couple weeks later someone said it was the most popular name for 2009 (thanks TWILIGHT!) So just wondering what u named your babies and if there's any other isabella and declans??

Analisa Edith
(awnalisa)

We just loved the name analisa. Edith is after my grandmother. I have a neice on both sides named Isabella though :)

Olivia Arielle. Olivia means olive tree, which represents peace. Arielle contrasts with it as it means "Lioness of God" so peace and power together is a pretty great mix!....
plus it sounds real pretty together :-)

Nicholas Alexander...we wanted a strong name and I wasn't doing a Jr. because my husbands name is Alonso Alonso...no not a typo! lol Also he was conceived around Christmas and my middle name is Nicole.
I always wanted Peter Simon but my husband didn't like it. I love the name Isabella. Way before I was married I had the name Isabella Marie picked out.
I agree with others on here. Who cares about the movie. Years from now the movie will be forgotten. Plus Isabella has a few nicknames they can use. Heck I go by Lon...My parents named me Yolanda, but always called me Londi which changed to Lon as I got older.

*Elyana Mystique* I let her daddy name her because its his first child and i ended up loving what he came up with. Elyana is a different spelling for Eliana which means god has answered and Mystique is after one of those super heroes lol. Its a very unique name! we also put another middle name after that its Bryna (br-ee-na) after her 2 grandmothers brenda and myrna but i prefer it to be pronounced (br-in-ah).hmmmm. My son is Jonathan which means god gives =]

It took us along time to agree on a name. i wanted something more unique while my bf wanted something original. But we decided before we found out what we were having that i would choose the name if a boy and he would choose the name if a girl. We also didn't want anyone to know our names because we didn't want any influence on the name. We ended up with the name Benjamin Michael ( Benji for short). If it was a girl it would have been Brittany Ann (Briann for for short).

We called our son Lucas Jack. Jack is after my boyfriends grandfather and we decided on lucas and it hadnt been used round here before (now one of the popular ones :-( ) . We have had a little girls names picked for ages which will hopefully be Lille Olivia after my wonderful grandmothers. One of which i never had the pleasure of meeting.

Our little girl, born 9/22 is Sylvia Caroline Delaney. Sylvia after Sylvia Plath, my husband's favorite poet, Caroline because it's the feminie form of Charles, my brother's middle name, and Delaney is Jimmy Buffet's daughter's middle name and my husband and I are huge Parrot Heads. I am so glad that no one else has picked Sylvia because we wanted something unique. Our daughter has red hair and a firey personality and everyone thinks Sylvia is the perfect name for her...

My son's name is Grayson Thomas. We found Grayson in a baby name book and it was the only name that me and my husband both liked. Thomas is my husband's middle name (everyone calls hims Tommy) and my older brother's middle name too. If we have another boy, his middle name will be Michael, after my little brother. No first name picked yet, but my husband like Gage and I like Bradley and Damen. If we have a girl, her name will be Adilynn Jena. Both of our mom's middle name is Jean, but I think it's too hillbilly-ish so I changed the letters around and got Jena. (Like Jennah.)

Samuel Paul after my husband's father and my Grandfather. We're expecting again, and I'm having to listen to my mother push Isabella. I keep arguing against it, but it is actually about to start a fight....childish, huh? We don't know what we're having yet, but we've already decided on Hannah Rose for a little girl. We're stuck on boy names. We've used the important male names, and he doesn't want a Jr (he doesn't like his name).

We named our LO Johnathan Patrick. My husbands name is John and mine is Patricia. I really liked this name and after I told my husband it we had to decide on the spelling of Johnathan, but finally did it with John in it even though it is different.

My twin girls are Julia and Alexandra. Both share my last name as a middle name (Stewart) in keeping with more of a latin tradition of keeping the mother's family name.

I saw one post for Julia but none for Alexandra-- surprising as both names are in the top 50 for 2008 (previous year for soc security registration). Anyone else out there with Alexandra?

Claire Janson - I love traditional names and Claire is feminine but not too over the top. Her middle name is Janson. My fiance and I both wanted to incorporate our mothers' names in to our first born and only wanted 1 first name and 1 middle name. Matts mum is JANet and my mum is SONya hence JANSON. xx Isabella is a lovely name - dont worry about twilight its just the latest flash in the pan - when your daughter is in her 20's etc it will either be funny for her to meet other Isabella's and laugh about being named after the show or not or everyone will have forgotten all about it :)

Lucille Ann, we are very old fashioned.

we were thinking of the following though:

Audrey Ann

Agatha Ann

Mary Lucille

Charlotte Ann

William James

Robert Lee

William Graham

Ann, William, and Robert are family names. We are extremely old fashioned when it comes to names.

I had a bet with my boyfriend if I was haveing a girl I would get to name her what ever I wanted no argument ( I was so sure I was haveing a girl so I could name her Jasmine Zahara) and if it was a boy he could name him and I couldnt say anything. guess what we had a boy! after many teases of comic book charecter's names he decided on Conner "a good Irish name" h and than he gave him his grandfathers middle name of william.cuz he was real close with his grandfather. his grandfather died when he was in highschool.

We named our little girl Jamie-Leigh. My stepson's middle name is the same as my father-in-law's name (Gordon). So when we had out 1st, we said that it's middle name must come from my side of the family (I say "it" - coz we didn't find out the sex). So if it was a boy, then he would have something from my Dad's names & if it was a girl, she would have something from my Mom's name. My Mom's name is Sheilagh, so when she was born & we decided on Jamie-Leigh. We decided to spell it Leigh & not Lee, as my brother-in-law is Lee and Leigh is the same letters as in my Mom's name. So she's Jamie-Leigh, with no middle name. We love it. We were a bit worried that people would shorten her name, but Jamie is still stunning. And she doesn't respond to being called Jamie, only Jamie-Leigh. Not sure what we'll call our next one. Would like to keep the same format (double barrel) but that could be difficult. And suggestions would be fab.
