What makes your little one a munchkin ?

My Claudia is a munchkin cuz she is always trying to put my shoes on and walk around in them. She knows how to put the phone up to her ear and listen to who is on the other side. She is always trying to get into the bathroom when her father and I are in there. She love taking rides in the elevator. It is cute when she drops something on the floor and goes ut oo. It is hard to stay mad at her when she is laughing.

Caleb is a little munchkin cause he is always into everything. He has learned to "talk back" to us, and oh the lovely temper tantrums. But how can you not love him when he hugs and kisses and cuddles into me. And he never cuddled when he was a baby baby. Oh I love my little man:)

my Danica also same with yours...she is my little munchkin! just a year old, but she seems can understand everything i say! if i say no...she will say No..no..oso...and when i say...dont to avoid her to do something dangerous , she will stop...but, i think what the most makes her munchkin is...she can acting! when u say, Danica, hows baby crying....she will act like a crying baby...and when u say...Danica, hows a bad guy laugh..in a second, she will switch and laugh like a bad guy in the movie..! what a wonderful girl i have! she also a very active girl...like to climb a stairs, a chair, a table...and everything that she can climbs on..and sometimes, i'm feel sad when some people who dont understand how active she is, will say...oh! Danica is so naughty! just like a boy! sometime i just wanna tell them...she is not naughty...she is only 1 and dont deserve to be called Naughty...but no matter what peoples say about her......i dont care, as long as i knows....She is my little muchkin!

My munchkin loves to wrestle. Anytime im kneeling on the floor (ei. picking up toys, or folding laundry) She will ATTACK me lmao. Allannah will growl and jump on my back. She also loves to through everything around the house, the bigger the mess, the more fun she has with it. She is very lucky she's cute =)

My son sounds so much like a lot of your kids! He also loves remotes and phones, splashing water around, and spitting! He loves taking things out of cupboards and drawers. He loves to dump his toy box out on the floor. Lake is also quite aware of how cute he is because when he does something he knows he shouldn't (for the millionth time!), he smiles as big as he can to get out of trouble.
Lake also loves to be outside, and will sometimes settle on looking out the window if the weather's bad. He is fiercely strong-willed and hates when we try to help him or do things for him. The only thing he allows us to help him with, is walking up and down stairs. He has fallen down a step (to our garage) twice already so that's why he'll get help with that. Otherwise, stay away! He's hilarious and cute and willful and I love it!

My 13 month old rearranges everything. From kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, book shelves, shoes, toys, etc. My house always looks like I have no clue how to clean. She follows me around when I'm cleaning and basically undoes everything. Same goes for laundry. She takes clean, folded laundry and runs it back to the dirty hamper.
She is also a climber. I took all the chairs out of the breakfast room because she uses them to climb on the table. The word, "No" doesn't work with her as well as it did with her older sister. This one is definitely a munchkin.

Eric is so much like his daddy, which makes him a munchkin. He climbs everything and when he falls he just laughs and gets back up to do it again. I love the way he plays alone, since he's the only one here most of the day. He's starting to tell me "no" when he knows he's going to do wrong but he does it anyway.

He's been sick so he's cuddling much more and that makes me feel good.

I loved reading about all the other kiddos. We have quite a bunch

Mine is a munchkin because when I feed her she chews it up and spits it right back out and gives it to my dogs and thinks its so funny and she does this new thing where she runs around and shakes her head really fast and laughs so hard and runs after my dogs she just loves them. and when you tell her no and go to get her she just runs and laughs. Also when her dad calls me from work I will put the phone up to her ear and he talks to her and she just sits there and listens to him and she cries if I take it away and loves the remote for tvs and always takes them she also hates if I'm on the computer and just cries and pushes my hand off the mouse she is so spoiled and she Deff knows it! I love my lil girl so much love you Bella!

Mine is a munchkin because she loves to clear off any flat surface... she stands at the coffee table & picks up everything, see’s if she can eat it, and then drops it on the floor behind her. She will start heading out of the room you are in, wait at the door and then go 100 miles an hour when you turn & ask “where are you going”. :-D

She also clearly believes our phones (especially my husband’s iPhone) are hers to play with, as is the remote for the tv.

She is so cute, and she is quite aware of that fact. :-)

My lil munchkin loves to climb and get into cabinets. If I'm doing dishes, he grabs hold of the dishwasher racks and pulls his little self up onto the door. He then proceeds to pull out anything that I try to put in there. Also, I've tried everything to keep him out of the cabinets in the kitchen...to no avail. I now have every door pulled shut with bungie cords. I actually had to go find a shorter one because he learned that the one cabinet that was connected to the drawer would open if he pulled the drawer 1st. I go into the kitchen to find my spices scattered across the floor lol!!

Jaquelynn thinks she is the queen bee around my house she is such a little ham tho because she will sit there a toot and start crakin up laughin and then it dont help matters much when my 3 year old helps her climb the baby gate so they can go make a mess in thier bedroom . but you can also ask my little one to go get a diaper give you her pacifier or if she wants something and she knows exactly what you are talkin about

My daughter is a pointer and along with that pointing comes a tongue lashing. I think she has adapted my methods of scolding her. she loves "talkin" on the phone and controlling the remote. She's a little woman, she's always on the run. At thirteen months I can hardly keep up with her.

I love seeing these stories and now that my son isn't the only mischivious one out there... :). Landon is such a monkey. He climbs on the couch so fast it frightens me. For example, we got him a remote control car (I think it was more for daddy to play with but anywho), so the other night he was sitting there playing with it then all of a sudden he gave me the remote to it. So I was tyring to show him how it worked so I pushed the buttons and it took off in his direction. Let me tell you that he was laughing so hard and squirming to get up onto the couch so fast. My boyfriend and I were almost peeing our pants it was so funny. Then my girlfriend brought over her son (who is 1 month younger than my boy). Her son was so scared of Landon because he was SOOOOO hipper. It was too funny. Landon was crawling (cuz he is too stubborn to try and walk..LOL) all over everyone and everything, laughing screashing. It was one of the funniest things ever.
I think that this is the BEST age by far. He loves to play on his own, we still have an issue if mommy walks out of the room but we are working on that.
OKay, I think I should stop going on and on, I guess we all like to brag that our child is so special...

Kira is a munchkin for munchkins. She literally gets into EVERYTHING. Love when we tell her no-no, she shakes her head no-no, only with the biggest grin on her face cuz she knows she's a trouble-makin munchkin! Has the same love of all things electronic like your little ones. We have to hide the remotes from her cuz she learned that if she throws the remotes on the floor the back pops open & then she can get the batteries! She loves her dog, it doesn't phase her at all that he's a big 'ol 100lb yellow lab. She'll just put her arm up to push him aside when she's got somewhere to go and he's standing in her way. She'll shake her little finger at him when he's being naughty like barking. She loves when his big 'ol tail is wagging & wacking her in the face! It's all smiles & giggles! They're a pair, the two of them! The sweetest thing though is when she just puts her little arms around his big, furry neck and gives him a hug & says "awww" in the process! She absolutely adores her big brother. When she was little, he would just lay on the floor & she would just grab his head & smack his face & grab his hair & just squeal in delight. And she hugs him non-stop, saying "aww" every time! They literally call her the "smiley baby" at the grocery store, becauuse she's always smiling & waving to everyone! People are always asking me what I am doing to always have such a happy child... I think it's because she is just a munchkin! :)
Enjoyed all the stories! They ARE munchkins, aren't they!? It's great... Sometimes drives you crazy, but great! :)

Brooke definitly fits into the Munchkin catagory!:) She follows her sisters lead (age 4) and actually has become Ana's boss at times! Brooke has a deep, throaty laugh that gets us all laughing and she knows it. Ever since she started to crawl, the stairs have been her challenge. I watch her crawl over to them, touch the first stair and then look at me:) I say, No no Brooke, and now she smiles and covers her ears! Like she is saying, "lalalalalalal Mommy, I can't hear you!" then she darts right up the stairs! It's been said before, but both Brooke and her big sis are very LUCKY they are cute:)

DaKotah is definitely a munchkin because she gets into every little thing.... and when you tell her no she just looks at you with her little grin that says im going to do what i wan when i want and you wont stop me... but she is very spoiled and she does get a lot from my parents.... she throws temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way but then she will come up to me and give me a big hug and kiss and say sowwy mommy i ove you!.... shes so darn cute its hard to be mad at her

I would have to say Parker is a munchkin because the other day i was searching all over the house for a pack of wipes that were opened and just couldnt find them anywhere..so i finally said forget it and opened another pack, well of course after i opened them and changed his diaper he gets up and runs over to the entertainment center reaches behind a pulls out the opened packs of wipes...and did it with the biggest smile ever! Love that boy to death. He also likes to help you pick up all his toys but then once you've done that he looks at you and then dumps them all back out. Hard to believe they are all a year old!

Reading all your stories reminds me of the things Ava does that I totally forgot about. Like Kenneth, Ava knows how to change the volume on the surround sound and if she is listening to something and we turn it down, she promptly turns it right back up again. She adores animals, she is slowly getting concept of gentle patting but loves to kiss my parents dog. In turn the dog loves to lick Ava's mouth. So gross but it makes for the sweetest pictures.

Ava returned my phone charger yesterday and I got to charge my phone for the first time in 2 weeks ! I was about to go buy a new charger actually and just before we left for the shops she walked into my room with the charger. Bless her cotton socks !

Hahaha that made me laugh about the toothbrush being in the toilet! It sooo reminds me of my son Ethan. I was letting him look at his daddy's toothbrush the other day, because he is facinated by it. He grabbed it from me and threw it on the bathroom floor. Oops haha. Oh well...I'm sure daddy doesn't mind j/k ;) And Ethan's *tries* to play with the toilet too...and that just grosses me out so much! Instead of carrying around a security blanket or stuff animal or something, my son carries around a plastic toy golf club lol. He throws his food at the dog & spits it everywhere when he's done. He loves torturing the cats, too. We try to get him to pet softly, but he gets a chunk of hair in his hand & yanks it instead. Such a little toot! I can't believe how fast they are growing! Ethan will probably be running soon & I'm gonna have to get some good shoes to keep up with that boy!

Hi Jess! I smiled a lot reading about your little Ava because she reminds me of my little kenneth. He does a lot of the things your little one does. In addition to the throwing things, hiding things and making every effort to splash in ANY available water, from the moment he learned to walk, Kenneth has LOVED turning the televison off & on, turning the volume waaaay up and changing the channel as well as making his bowl into a drum during mealtime... WHAT A MESS!!! It gets frustrating cleaning up all of Kenneth's squishy spills, but I can't help laughing to my self and I realize that all of his little munchkin antics are a pert of his learning and growing process. :-)

My Nia is definitely a handful. Thank goodness brother (11) and sister (7) are around not only to help but also for entertainment. I'll have to say Nia is the smartest and hardest kid so far. She knows exactly what she is doing and how to get away with it. She'll turn off the tv a million times getting everyone to jump up and yell, but we all end up giving her hugs and kisses when she squishes up her face and growls like a demon. One of her favorite spots is on the stepstool in the kitchen. She loves to sit or stand on it. I used to run and grab her to avoid her falling, but she is so used to it she knows how to get up and down without mom. She hates her stroller, her carseat, the shopping cart, anything with a belt to hold her down. She loves to be free to run whereever she likes. And I let her.

Her chubby cheeks and the curly pigtails (she looks like a cabbage patch doll) The way she copies everything her brother (2 1/2) does like filling their mouths with water and spitting it at each other, how she winds him up and then watches him take the blame. How she climbs up the slide instead of the steps at the park then screams coz she gets stuck. How she will watch her brother set up all his toys then run round the table and throw them across the floor. She's a real little madam but I wouldn't have her any other way

Well i must say that my little Savannah is quite the munchkin with having her big sister (miss 4) to look up too! But she is quite the little rebel on her own just learnt to climb up on the couch so the floor is constantly padded with pillows nice and messy!! We like to blow bubbles with food in our mouth and spit all over the floor and then laugh at each other her and big sister.... It is quite funny how they already know about remote controls and phones, Savannah often picks up MY mobile and presses buttons and puts it to her ear oh and says hello..... are you are only 1!! (She has even called a few people) Anyway I could probably go on for a few pages so i best stop but its all fun and games.
Nothing better than hearing two sister giggling together!!
