What milestones are your Sept. 2009 little ones hitting?

Abby (9/23) can climb (everything she can get her toes in) run, go up steps, jump, dance, kick a ball. She can also go potty and understand when she has to go potty on the potty. She says several words and says a new word a day lately. Yesterday new word was "all gone" as clear as a whistle. She just recently started talking, and when she talks its clear.

My son is starting to talk quite a bit. He is a monkey for sure! He running, dancing, & mimicing anything we do. He's also really making significant improvements in his fine motor skills... like coloring, using utensils to eat, etc. He also undresses himself. My son has gotten 2 top molars, & is working on 2 bottom ones.

jermaine is now 16mths, walks,runs,climbs everything even stairs up n down and talks all day but we understand about 30 of da words and he loves to dance. he has 12 teeth and kisses mummy alot. he is sooo fun.

my son is almost 15 month 09-28-2009,he is all over the place he started walking after he turned one but is running by now,hes not talking much yet,even tho he already knows a few words but hes just saying them every now and then....but he already knows a lot,like all about his body,he can show me his hair,head,eyes,ears,nose,mouth,tounge,feet,belly,legs,fingers,just about everything,hes not into tv at all,he loves books,he already got 13 teeth 4 of them molars.he loves to make fun of me and laughs his butt off hes soo much fun!!

we have cut 4 molars for a total of 12 teeth and he just started teething again so it's 16 in the making!!! the 4 at a teething is really no fun either. He's been walking, spinning, dancing just starting to run (still pretty clumsy with that lol) using utensils at meal times, the talking comes and goes. I know he has a pretty decent vocab but he'll only use on his terms

Wow there seems to be tons of boys out there!!! My daughter, born on September 15, fits right in the monkeys for sure:) She gets into everything as well, with encouragement from the big sis! Brooke is a very happy lil thing and loves to dance too! She sings or hums along with her sis listening to Christmas songs. She loves to wave at herself in the morror. Her vocabulary started pretty early on, says 20+ words or so. Hi, bye-bye, Mom, Dada, Nana (sister Ana), no-no, ouch, hot, nose (points to nose), toes, eye, ba (cup of milk), eat, nana (again for banana), shoe, kitty, whosat (when I am talking on the phone), MINE with emotion. She copies most of what we say but not on request. Her sister rarely stops talking and Brooke is following suit. With two girls, there doesn't seem to be much quiet. My life has turned into a musical - LOL. Hoping to introduce the potty soon. Still pretty early from my past experience, but she shows interest. Who knows! Fingers crossed. She has eight teeth in front and all four molars (no fun getting them in!) I think her top canines are starting too! Yikes.

My son hasn't started walking and he just turned 15 months today. Anyone got any tips? He's scared. I know he can do it though because he'll hang on to my sweatshirt strings and take 10 steps+ but once I let go he drops. My son has 8 teeth no molars yet but I'm not looking forward to it. We had a rough time with teething anyway and I'm sure it's not going to be much fun. My son says mama, dada, no, yeah, ball and I think that's about it.

Wow!!! Thanks for all your comments, sounds like we got a wild bunch of kiddos on our hands. My son is my first and I must say it is a blast. Everyday is something new and exciting. It was so nice to hear about all you babies, and how well they are doing! Thanks agian for the feedback, it is great!

My son is 15 months old, he is very happy, loves to laugh, can make every sound, and waves at everyone and actually gets mad if someone doesnt wave back. He has 18 teeth, all of his top molars and two of his bottom, has a couple teeth left and they are starting to break through now. He says a couple of words, but he comes to work with me everyday so his life is a little hectic. He is just now starting to learn how to walk, because of his size (size of an average 2 1/2 year old) he has taken a little longer than normal.

Wow my little girl is doing all the active gross motor stuff ,but we only have 3 teeth two bottom and 1 well 1 and a half up the top! She says a few words only as well mum dad, hello , seeya, She already know what things not to do of course they learn that one easy hey!

My son is half monkey too, I think! LOL! He is almost running, he started walking at about 10 months. He loves to dance too! Every time he hears music, it's like he can't help but dance! So funny! He also climbs on everything!! He loves to chase our cats all over the house! He loves to run around in the grass and sand at the park! He loves books right now and is very interested in reading! He also loves putting toys in something and pulling them out again, this keeps him busy for awhile! LOL!

My son also has quite the vocabulary, it amazes me sometimes! He says, mom, dad, kitty, dog, shoe, drink, bath, soap, squirrel...that one is random I know but his great grandma painted a mural on his wall and there is a squirrel on it! It was amazing to me that he attempted that word and says it pretty clearly! There are lots of other words he says but I can't think of them off the top of my head!

He also knows several body parts, his peepee, (LOL), tummy, nose, eyes, he even knows where his teeth are!

He has 8 teeth, 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom! No molars yet, but I am dreading it!

My daughter Ruby, was walking at 9 months running at 9 months 1 day lol, she loves to climb on everything, she dance's and sings along to row ya boat, patty cake. She loves to talk always jabbering and she says a lot of words and she says about 10 2 or 3 word sentences, she knows 7 body parts as well as 5 animals. She is extremely busy all day long and loves to be outside discovering new things, she has just started to ride her trike, and has also been using the potty,( We put it out just to get her used to it and she just took to it) She can throw a mean tantrum and does gets frustrated when she can not do something, but all in all she is a happy healthy little girl, oh and she has 4 teeth up top 3 down bottom, and her 1st molar cut threw last week, which was horrendous lol

My LG is 15 months old she can walk, dance, sing and the funny baby talk. I sometimes understand what she is saying and other day I'm just blank. She is the centre of my world. Oh she is such an entertainer, she loves "If you are happy and you know it"

She only has four teeth, uper and lower. She knows how to say bye, shoe, dada and mama. She also has a temper when she does not get her way. She will scream and wiggle herself on the floor.

Hey!! My son also was born Sept 2009 and he is walking, he can climb stairs, dancing as well and has such a fun personality! def likes to be the center of attention =) My son can only say mama, dada, byebye, nana, Bo (our dogs name) nighnigh (for night night) & thats about it! he can give kisses , hugs and high fives now too... Glad to know Landen isnt the only one not talking much! But he is still such a character! He points to alot of things he wants and does this uuuugggghhhh!!! noise lol he also has quite a temper on him and when he is mad he will throw his head back and he also head butts too... he has just recently cut his Eye teeth, one is almost all the all the way through, the other has just started and he has also had one molar on bottom right that has broke the gumline and the other on left is fixing too and i just noticed the top first molars are fixing to break through as well! that explains why he hasnt been sleeping through the night recently & not wanting to eat much he has to chew!

My son was born Sept 19th, and he walks, runs, dances and climbs EVERYTHING! he's a total monkey and hambone..lol, he talks quite a bit too, proably has 20+ wprds that he uses regularily but will try to copy anything you say. As for teeth he has all 4 molars and the eye teeth are starting to come up, just hope it doesn't take too long, teething is really hard on him!

My twins girls born Sept 2009 are gynastics.they walk climb dance run amoung other things too. They don't do alot of talking justa few words. they can i dentify body parts n people around them........ They have molars coming out at the bottom

My son Aydin was born on 09-23-09 . he started walking when he was 8 months old and has'nt stop ever since and he quiet a runner run like a flash . Climbs everything including dinning chairs and the tables , kn how to turn the tv on and off . Knows how to turn xbox on and the play station 3 . Can say mama, Dada ,
uh oh .ball and blanket and Babe cuz cuz i call my husband babe he mimic me . he knows alot of his body parts like eyes nose ears arms head hair and belly button . He loves dancing , loves music . loves barney and single ladies ever since he was few months old . he has eight teeth he is in the process of cutting a molar but hasnt popped out yet. He is a character makes me laugh . he also help me get him dressed .

My daughter was born Sept 09 as well. She skipped sitting.. went straight to standing and took her first solo steps a week or so shy of 10 months. She runs... jumps... climbs... dances.. spins in circles until she gets dizzy etc. Monkey is RIGHT! We understand exactly what she wants when she wants it... but still not a ton of words. She understands what we say.. simple instructions etc. She is getting a headstart on the 'terrible two's'. Very determined ... no matter how many times we say "no thank you charlotte..." she still does what she wants. We've actually had to start time outs!

Teeth came in at 4 months... she now has five and half teeth! Loves to play with puzzles... hide and seek.. peekaboo... She knows a number of words.. but mostly refuses to repeat any of them on demand. Dad... HI DAD... DADDY... MOM... baby...hi...bye bye... yes... WHATSAT?.... WHOSAT?... OUCH... BOO! bathroom (that was a new one)...socks... She also loves to copy us.. she pretends to cough, sneeze burp... the fun just never ends! Oh and she is fluent in making my PC do things I didn't know it could!

Hey everybody my son 15 months now (YIKES) has been walking since 10 months and running since. He has 4 top and 4 bottom teeth, but only talks in sentences... but definitely has a lot of jibberish too! He is a sports fanatic he plays basketball football and his favorite baseball!!! And man does he have an arm he can catch me off gaurd sometimes and it hurts! lol He has been locating body parts for a few months now and loves to learn more! I love seeing where kids his age are not to compare but to see that there are other parents out there proud of where their child is no matter where that might be!! Congrats to all you mommies looks like we are all doing something right!!!

hes cut 4 molars and he wasnt that bad. i cant get him to say anything except mama and dada, he is behind in alot of stuff. i cant get him to eat with a spoon but he does eat finger foods all by himself. he tries to wash his hair when i have him in the tub. hes very into cause and effect. he climbs on the bed and gets off. he plays peek a boo, when my bf tells him no he listens (my bf isnt my sons dad but wants to adopt him),

My 14 month old (born 9/22/09) started walking at 10 1/2 months old, started saying "thank you" and "uh-oh" around 11 months old and tries to say things we tell her to say. She climbs, runs, knows how to use the t.v. remote to turn the tv on/off (wonderful), dances to music, knows how to find her shoes and socks and asks me to put them on and sits on floor to wait for me, points at food or anything she wants that is up high, knocks on doors to enter rooms in the house, and has fed herself for a few months now. As far as her teeth go, she has 13 teeth!! She got them very quickly.



She is moving along waaaay faster than my older two did at this age!! It amazes me.

My daughter was born Sept 2009. She has been walking since she was 9 MONTHS OLD! She can say 10 WORDS and is already starting to put words together eg "NO MUMMA" and "TA MUMMA" are her favourites.
She has 4 teeth up the top and 4 down the bottom and her molars are just starting to come through now, which is certainly not a fun time at all. Poor baby girl.
She still is not a sleeper! Does anyone have any handy tips that may have worked for them?

my son is sooo funny keeps his dad and i, and all our friends entertained for hours! he only has 6 teeth. he cut his first at 10 months. but his verbal skills amaze me and his doctor, he says about 20-30 words and a few sentanced here and there. i only work 3 days a week so i spend alot of time with him and talk to him all day long and explain everything to him since he was born which i think has really developed his verbal skills! he loves music and to dance! he can sing to spondebob theme songs, he says ooooo when the pirate says it and says bob bob when they say sponge bob! its the cutest thing! he loves sports! kicks, or throws the ball around, he also loves to hit it with his knee hockey stick! already at 15 months he is a clean freak, some how he finds the littlest speck of something and picks it up and runs over to me to put it in my hand! i am giving him a kids broom for christmas bc he loves to carry the big broom around and pretend to sweep! i love this age, and his mimicing of everything he sees!

My daughter is 15 months now. She knows about 10 words, and can bark, meow, and moo. She knows word associations for several body parts (I can say "where is your bellybutton" and she'll point). She dances, gives kisses and hugs, says I love you (iloo, haha) plays patty cake (specifically, she rolls her hands during "roll it and roll it"). She hands me books and plops down in my lap because she knows that's where stories are read.

And oh yes...those teeth. she has the upper and lower central and lateral incisers (front 4) and all 4 first molar, for a total of 12 teeth. Not fun...

My son was born on Sept. 8, 2009. He was walking by 10 months and it's been nonstop ever since! I walks, runs, climbs and terrorizes the house, lol. He says mama, dada and baba (bottle). He cut 4 molars at once and it was awful, it didn't help that he had an ear infection at the same time though. So far he has 12 teeth, but we can see at least one of the incisors are coming in.

Darwin is 15m today and he is just a toataly
mad! :) he cracks me up! He has all his mollars and is startig to cut the pointy ones.. He speaks realy
realy well and understands everything we say
or ask him to do. Sits at a chair and table to colour in or read a book, climbs on and of the lounge helps himself to the pantry even tells me when he wants to go to bed by going to get a bottle. He's always I think been a few month ahead of himself which frustrates him I think.. He's been walking from 10m which was fun but exsausting for me!! Lol but do things at all differant stages but it's interesting to know what other bubs are doing!

i have twins and both are walking now :) my son has 4 teeth on top and 3 on bottom my daughter has 4 on top 3 on bottom and 4 of her molars thru... we surprisingly didnt have much whinging (no more than normal!) but we've never had many problems with teething. They both talk a LOT but not much i can understand lol but its just baby talk to each other mostly twins tend to talk properly later than most kids as they have each other :) my son just learnt to climb up on the lounge as he is just tall enough to get there so he spends all day climbing up and down. he's also learnt if he pushes his little chair over to something he can use that to climb up! lol

My son as all of his molars he got them about a month before he turned one. and hes just gettin 4 more teeth and im hoping thats it untill the 2yr old molars decied to come in. My son can climb on EVERYTHING hes even managed to get out of his crib. He does not say much besides mama and hi he says some words which sound like here and this. But other then that he doesnt say much:(

My son has 8 teeth and 2 molars, althoug he has 2 more coming in and one of them I can feel points on. Sounds like there are some super talkers in the group here. Although my son does say a few words, I am with you Sarah, he sure is fluent in jibberish! Thanks for your replies ladies. I know you are not suppose to compare your child to other children but it is nice to see how he compares, and gives me a couple of ideas on stuff that I could do with him that I hadn't thought of yet.

My son is a little goof ball & he keeps me laughing all day long! He has a personality just like his daddy. :)He's walking (practically running lol), climbing, and he loves to dance too! He loves to play "catch" with my husband & me, and he also plays soccer with the dog lol. He seems to be developing quite well in his fine motor skills, too. As far as talking goes, he's 100% fluent in Jibberish. :) He can't really say anything in English yet, but that's okay. He "talks" all day long & I'm sure we'll understand it eventually. He cut his very first tooth just last month at 13.5 months old. I didn't think my little man was ever going to get teeth. Now he was the top two teeth coming in first & one bottom one trying to come through next.

Tanner is a total monkey as well, it's so much fun watching him and his personality! He can get off the couch all by himself, dances to Ellen Degenerous every morning, climbs the stairs alone as well as comes back down (of course I'm always right there just in case). He has a great vocabulary 30+ words, he hears everything we say and tries to mimic it but 30+ words is what others can understand when he says it :) He has 8 teeth and 2 molars with the other two and their points poking through. He really hasn't had any trouble with his molars, thank goodness. I absolutely love this age!!!!

My son is a total monkey. He climbs on anything he can now. He walks and dances as well. Dancing is his favorite thing to do and its so cute. He talks all the time though. He actually has quite the vocabulary. It surprises me every time I hear him say things. Id tell you what all he says, but we would be here all night haha! Also my son has two molars and two more coming in. It has been really hard on him the past few days and hard on me as well. Beings that he is up all night and I am up all night and I'm pregnant so its been pretty ruff. How many does you son have?
