When did your baby get his/her first tooth?

All children are different, my 1st child at 9 months had 9 teeth, my 2nd child she didn't get her first tooth until after her 1st birthday, my youngest is now 11 months old he has 7 teeth right now.

My little girl was 10 months on July 27th, and she has 6 teeth, 4 up top and 2 bottom ones, but all kids are so different!! I am still breastfeeding and we are both doing well, with only the odd nip!! lol

Zara cut her first tooth at 8 months... and almost three months later, she is still waiting to cut her 3rd tooth... I thought that as soon as the process started, it would just move along

Harriet born 09/09/09 cut her first tooth round 7months, she now has recently cut her 12th tooth!!!

jacob was born sept 29th and got 2 teeth at the same time at 6months! at 8months he got 2 more and just last week he got 2more!

My little guy was born 9/29 and just cut his first tooth this week. He is by far the youngest of my 4 kids to cut a tooth so far. My daughters were both over a year old and my other son was 11 months. I wouldn't worry, it is said that the longer it takes babies to get teeth the stronger those teeth will be.

My daughter (nearly 3) got her 1st tooth at 9 months and didn't get another one until after 12 months! My son got his 1st 4 teeth at 9 months, and 2 more 2 weeks later - all kids are different, nothing to worry about!

My son born 9/25 got his first teeth (bottom) together at 4.5 months, and now has 6. I wouldnt be to eager for him to get them, they will come eventually.. and with teeth comes BITING! My little bugger bit my nipple this morning, and he's not even breastfed anymore!

My twins will be 11 months on the 11th, the bigger one has no teeth and the smaller one has cut one tooth about 4 months ago and she still has one even today. Is this normal?

My son only got his first two teeth at 7 months. Now at 10 1/2 months he is cutting his 8th tooth. 4 top and 4 bottom.
I am still nursing so don't let teeth discourage you if you are too.
I've heard many say that the later the teeth come the stronger they are.

My son is almost 11 months and he has 8 teeth! 4 on the top and on the bottom.. and I believe he is starting to cut his 1 year "molars".. but like other mothers have said - every child is different. My oldest nephew did not get teeth until after a year - and then they all came in within 2 weeks.

my daughter got her first tooth 2 days before her 9 mth birthday in June and cut her second one right next to it on her 9 mth birthday. I wouldn't be too worried. I asked my doctor and they said at the time that it was ok and someone else told me that the longer the baby goes without teeth the healthier they are. but i'm not sure how long is "normal". If you have real concerns I would talk to your doctor.

my daughter turned 10 months on the 15th. She got her first tooth at 4 months and just got one today for a total of 8 teeth.

ethan was 3 month and cut his first tooth. i had to stop nursing. now at 10 months he has 8 all the way through and 3 trying to push through. teething is so hard, the fussing, biting everything, drooling, rashes, not sleeping i could keep going but i guess im trying to say thank your luckey stars you havnt had to deal with it yet! but when it does start, vibrating teething rings are awesome (i got mine at target, the best $5 i ever spent) and an ice cube wraped in a wash cloth have saved my life!

Both of my sons first tooth came in at 2 months. Every child is different, they will come when they are ready

My daughter is a little over 10 months still no teeth yet. Everyone tells me the longer it takes for them to come in that she will have good teeth. Hopefully they are right. I was worrying, but I am just gonna enjoy her toothless smile she won't have it for long!!!!

My Son cut his first tooth at 8 months, 2nd at 9 months and 3rd & 4th at 10months on the same day. Don't worry they are all different, they will come when they are ready.

My daughter is 10 months old and just now got her first tooth! Some babies get them sooner some later! My daughters doctor said some babies don't get teeth til a year or so. he will get them soon. if ur breastfeeding think of it as a benefit. Im breastfeeding and I like that she hasnt had any teeth up until now
