Cold Chills?

My daughter will randomly shake like she's having a cold chill. Usually it's when she wakes up from a quick snooze or after nursing. No other symptoms that I've noticed, she's a happy, healthy baby otherwise.

It looks like she is having a cold chill, but I've read about it possibly being an immature nervous system, it just seems like she should be out of the "immature nervous system" stage as most of the other moms worried about it had babies who were 4-8 weeks old.

Pediatrician told me that its a sign of an immature nervous system. My son stopped doing it about a month or so ago. But I dont think theres a specific time when they are "supposed" to mature. Unless her whole body is shaking with it I wouldnt worry.

I have to agree with Nikki's Mother in law. Probably just peed. :) Both my son and daughter did this.

When my daughter was younger the doc said it was immature nerves. She does it still every now and then. Whenever she does it in front of my mother-in-law, she says "did you just pee?" Never heard of that, but it seems like a decent reason. LOL Maybe it's just a random chill. Adults get them too sometimes.

my son does this too usually while eating solids and just randomly during the day i think maybe its a novelty thing..
