We've decided to do a Pink Poodle in Paris theme for Gracelyn's first birthday. In addition to the theme package I am making ribbon topiaries with decopage pots to match, tissue paper poofs in coordinating colors and an etsy style happy birthday banner. I'm loving making things for her party. Any other crafty suggestions that some of you might be doing or have done before? I'm also making her tutu, hair bow, high chair skirt and party hat. This child has really brought out the creativity in me. A friend calls me the Martha Steward for babies, lol.

Really impressive to know about your creativity and efforts. Though I am not that creative as you, but I can try Use pink, purple and white pom-pom balls or ornaments to hang up with feather boas or garlands. Place pictures of pink poodles around the party area.

Inexpensive dog collars can be used for curtain tie-backs in the party room. Don't forget to purchase or hand make a banner or sign for the birthday girl. I usually buy the party supplies from online stores like mybirthdaysupplies.com ( http://www.mybirthaysupplies.com ), partycity.com – but you really doing a great job. Have Fun!
