How many of you already have a little one at home that is 12 months or younger?

^^I bought a gigantic bag full of just the cloth for $100. I always have enough, in fact I have some still in the bag that I haven't even used yet! Some friends gave me spare covers and I bought some more. The really good ones are like $20 (cheaper ones are like $12 each) I went to re-sale shops and got some for $5 too.

Also I understand about the poopy diapers, I could not live without my diaper sprayer! It hooks up to the toilet and you just spray the poop into the toilet. I like it even better than disposables because there's no smell!!

We still use disposables when we go out and at night, but one box from Costco lasts us 4+months.

I highly recommend doing some more research on cloth, there ARE cheaper deals out there! It saves tons and tons of money!

Baby #1 and 2 will be 2 years and 2 1/2 months apart. It's hard enough for me now, but with the help of my husband and with alot of patience, it'll be alright. I'm just wishing my son would start using the potty. but I can definately relate to other moms here who are worried about the financial aspect of buying diapers for two. I myself would switch to cloth, but my husband would throw away them away because there would be dirty diapers plus, I myself cannot afford to buy 6 cloth diapers and spend $80 for a package of 6. I don't know how much they are in the states or around the world, but i'm not about to spend that much money on it here in Canada

My baby girl is 13 months right now and I can't believe there's only a couple months before her brother arrives!! It's going to be crazy! Do you think she can be potty trained by then? lol!

my daughter will also be 17 months when bub #2 arrives. i'm only really concerned about the first 6 months (when #2 is still a bit of a blob!) after that i think it will just get easier and easier! good luck :)

My daughter is turning 1 this month, they will be 15 months apart. I'm a little nervous but I think with a lot of love and patience it will all be fine.

If anyone is worried about paying for 2 kids in diapers try switching to cloth!!! They're great!!!!!

It's really not as bad as people think it's going to be. This will be my fourth child. My oldest is going to be 4 years old in exactly a month. Between her and baby number 2 are exactly 17 months. Babies 2 and 3 are 18 months apart. Babies 3 and 4 (this one) will also be 18 months apart. I love it and wouldn't have it any other way.

Yeah...I'm a bit worried about it too...I'm more concerned about the financial worries than anything. I mean...it's going to be tough getting TWO babies bathed and diapered and put to bed and fed and all that...but that's only temporary. It's really going to be tough buying diapers for two little tikes. That's what I'm most concerned about....

Quoting Krista:                                                                                                                                         Just to ease your worry a bit.  My sister has two little girls exactly one year apart to the day. The oldest is one.  While she says it's hard, it's not AS hard as she thought it would be.

That is definitely reassuring!  From what people with kids close in age have been saying is that it is difficult while they are both in diapers, but once they are both older than 2-3 it gets much easier because they entertain themselves by always having a companion to play with.

Quoting Laura:

Hi Christina,

I have a 10.5 month old girl. I won't lie...I'm worried about how hard it is going to be with two in diapers at once lol. My little girl is also very high energy and is constantly getting into EVERYTHING so I know it's going to be difficult giving her constant supervision and still caring for a newborn. Do you worry about the same thing?

I have a little older daughter, she is 14 months right now. I'm somewhat thankful that they will be almost two years apart. Although due to my daughters birthday they will be only a year apart in school.
