i just wanted to know everones babies sizes and if they are breastfed or formula fed...My daughter was born July 20th and was 8.4 and 19in and at her 6 month was 18 lbs and 25 in!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is soley breastfeed

My twins were born July 30th and weighed 6lbs 1oz and 5lbs 13 ozs. They are now 18lbs 8ozs and 16lbs 8ozs. They have been formula fed.

Shelby was born July 27th and was 8 lbs 9 oz and 21 1/2 in long ~ on Jan 31st she weighed 18 lbs 9 oz!! and 27 1/4 in. long!! breastfed her exclusively until she was 4 weeks then i gave her formula if she was still hungry ~ went strictly to formula at 11 weeks because mommy just wasn't enough lol she's in size 6-9 and 12 month clothes!

hello, i had my son in july 29 2010 he just turned 6 months too.and he just got his shots i was wondering the same thing. i tought he was over weight .he weight 18 .5 lbs.and he is 27 inces long now.. and he was a small baby just born at 6lbs and 2 oz. & 19 inces long. now he is big and chunky i breast fed till 4 months old. now i stop so he drinks formula and eats ..bless ur baby too.

My daughter was born July 30 (9 days early) and was 7 lbs 6 oz, and 19.5 inches--as of Feb 1 she is 16 lbs 11 oz and 25.5 inches (I'm told 55th percentile for weight, 50th for height and 90th for head circumference). She's been formula fed for most of her life and just started tasting cereal two weeks ago.

My son was born 7-24-10 and was 8.1lbs and 21in long his 6 month check up was on the 24th and he weighed 19.1lbs and 28.5in. He was mainly breastfed for the 1st 2 months with a little bit of formula and at 2 months he was strictly formula fed and now he's on jar food and formula.

My son was born on 26th July weighing 9lbs 9ozs. He now weighs 19lbs 2ozs. He's really chubby, but his weight and height have followed the percentiles he was born at and the midwives have said he is all in proportion. Formula feed since birth and eating solids 3 times a day.

My girl was born on July 9th weighting 9 lbs and 8 oz 22 1/4 inc. The her 6 month appointment she weighted 22lbs and was 29 1/2 inches at 4 months. She was solely breastfed until 5 months, but gets both since I have had to go back to work early.

Sabrina - my older daughter refused solids until 8mo, then took to them hesitantly. By 12 months, she was eating solids just as well as the babies we knew who had started at 4-6 months.

My son was born July 6th and was 7lbs 12 oz 20 1/4". He's now about to be 7 months and 21lbs and 1 oz 28.5". He's breatfed only until he was 6 months. He has solid food now. :)

My son was born on 07/27. He was 8lbs5oz and 22in long. He is exclusively breastfed. His weight a mont ago was 19lbs 13oz. Next week will have the most current weight.

My daughter was 4wks prem weighing 5LBS 5OZ and is now six months old and weighs 15lbs 4.5ozs last time i got her weighed. She is bottle fed has 4 meals a day and a 8oz bottle with each!!

My daughter was born July 23 and was 7.10 pounds and 19.5" and at 6 months she is 16 pounds 5 ounces and 26.25". She was soley breastfed but we started feeding her cereal a month ago and added in veggies and fruits 2 weeks ago and now are adding in more foods daily so this week she is getting breakfast, lunch, dinner and still about 20 ounces of breastmilk per day

Hi Cecilia, My son Laurie was born 9lbs and he was a big boy, he just turned 6 months on 26th Jan and weighs 18.7lbs. Laurie was solely breastfed until about 3 weeks ago, Don't worry, all babies are different, I bet your little daughter is a gorgous healthy big baby, just like my Laurie. My first son weighed a lot less at this age, but he was born 6lb 9oz. I call Laurie my little chubby bub and he is gorgeous. He was born 54cm and is now 68cm and loving his food.

My daughter was born July 14, 2010 and was 7 lbs 20 inches. She is only breastfed, and just started her on solids a few weeks ago. She was 17 lbs and 27.5 inches at her 6 month checkup. Also long and lean... but not loving the solids.

My son was born July 27th and was 7lbs 6oz 191/2 inches and is now 6 months and he was just weighed at 17lbs 3oz last week and a little over 25 inches. :D He has been only breastfed until a couple days ago I started trying cereal once a day, he loves it! He grabs the spoon and shoves it in his mouth lol.

My daughter was born on july 7th and was 7lb 8 oz and is now 16lb 6 oz... which seems crazy since i hear all these other people with 18 lb babies, but she is SO fat! she has rolls and wrinkles everywhere. Maybe she is short? she seems a lot shorter than most babies her age.

My daughter was 6lb 15oz when she was born and at 25 weeks weighed in at 14lb 10oz. She was soley breastfed up to 22 weeks. But all 3 of my girls have been little (heaviest was 7lb 2oz)

@Laura.. I am giving Tyler 3-4 jars of baby food a day, on top of cereal & small table foods (gerber puffs, teether biscuits).. I weaned him from 8oz to 6oz, still gets 5-6 bottles a day.. doctor was fine, wic asked "why".. what do your doctors say? I figured 6oz is fine, since he's getting tons of food now.

Scotty was born July 7th - he's 21lbs and 32 inches. We had to wean him from breast milk at 6months because I had an infection that required major antibiotics. But - he is eating two stage two containers of food three to four times a day and only takes six six-ounce bottles during the day. He is now fitting (almost snuggly) in size eightteen months...

my baby was 6.11 and 20 inches....born july 21 and now he is only 15 lbs and 26.5 inches. he was only breastfed but the doctor told me to start giving him more food, and meat cause he needs to gain more weight. He seemed to lose interest in breastfeeding as his teeth came in.

My daughter is breastfed. She was born July 14th & weighed 8 lbs 13 oz. She had her 6 month checkup on Dec 30th & weighed 20lbs 7oz & 27 inches long. She was exclusively breastfed for 4 months now she gets cereal & babyfood as well. Breastfed babies are just bigger I think.

I'm not really into bragging or comparing kids.. I think every kid will do/grow on their own good time. But, my son was born July 13th, (he wasn't due until August 2) at 6.4lb & 19,.5in and had his 6mos checkup Tuesday. He was 14.15lbs & 25.5in.. and he is formula fed and started solids already.

My daughter was born July 10th weighing at 6lbs 11ounces 20in and at 6 months she is at 20lbs 24in and is formula fed and started solids at 5 months and cereal at 4 months. Started her on cows milk at 5 months but then she got a very bad cold for a month and I stopped giving her milk, but will start the cows milk again at 7 months, I was told better to start cows milk in winter, in summer babies get sick alot. I only give the cows milk 2 ounces with solids its not replacing formula, yet.

My son is breastfed he was born at 7lbs 5oz and was 20 inches long (born by c-section at 39 weeks). At 6 months he is 13 lbs 4 oz and 25.5 inches long. He is small because he had a lot of health problems, but he is doing much better and growing!! :-)
He is just starting on solids :-)

My son was born July 6th and was 8 lbs 5 oz and 18.75 in. At his 6 mo. appt he was 23 lbs 2oz and 27.75 in. Totally breastfed! :) Just began solids at 5 1/2 months.
