Most doctor suggest when they are about four months, but sometimes I think they get tired of the plain milk, but it should be ok when he gets closer to four months.

Natasha and Krista are right, you should not start till at least 4 months, i know its hard having to feed all the time but you can actually really damage babies by giving then anything but milk before 4 months.

my son is 3 months now and people keep telling me to give him solids hes ready to start solids now but hes still a baby and breastmilk and formula is nutritionally enough for a baby at his age. We see my sons pead when he'll be 5 months and ill be waiting until then before doing anything.. I think you should talk to your sons pead or doctor before trying anything.

For the love of God, do NOT add rice cereal to your child's bottle. I'm so shocked that people still use this archaic method of TRYING to make their child fuller. Rice cereal does NOT have the nutrients that your child needs. You are stripping your child of this when you add fillers before he or she is ready.

It is recommended to wait until 4-5 months old. But your pediatrician will know when since they know your child better, talk to them.

4-6 months. Before that they digestive systems are not developed enough to handle it.

No sooner than 4 months, your Pediatrician will let you know if you should try then, or wait till 6 months.
