Feeling some pain at 35 weeks anyone had this problem?

very common with baby additions!!!! I didn't have that at all with my first, as she sat very high. this is typical since nothing is actually stretched out yet so babies typically sit higher to the rib cage. Abut as you have more pregnancies, typically muscles are looser and already stretched so babies sit a lot lower, and sometime right on the pubic bone/area. With my second and now with my third the pelvic bone pain increased. you are not abnormal! and this is very common!

lol... I had this with my first and again with my second. Its because all your ligaments and joints are softening in preperation for birth, try not to worry too much about it if you have dropped that would explain the pressure... theres an old wives tale that is actually true... if you get a white ring around your lips and are feeling unusually heavy and drawn out, you are most likely about to go into labour... happened to me with my first (he came a month early)... i check the mirror now whenever im feeling drawn out...lol

I have the same thing and if I am thinking right, I think it is called round ligiment pain. My dr isn't concerned either and just said it is normal this late in the pregancy. Especially at night and turning over in bed can be painful! I had nights where I could barely make it to the bathroom and my hubby had to help me climb back into our bed! LOL BTW this is my third pregnancy. I have a 7 yr old girl, 4 yr old boy and our newest addition will be another boy due around July 13! :D Congrats on your newest addition and hang in there! We're almost done! :D

I have had the same pain through all my pregnancies.. I am 36 weeks and I am dilated 2 cm already . I go to a chiropractor too.. I suffer from bad sciatic pain and that just adds to the pressure. Congrats on your new little bundle

I am getting the same pressure but I am carrying twins so I get double the pressure and pain. I am 35 weeks and at 33 they were weighing in at 4 lb 7 oz and 4 lb 10 oz. I get another weight and measurement tomorrow. but my doctor tells me all my pain and pressure is completely normal with twins. hope you get some rest from the pain.

I have had 3 pregnancies before this one and this one has been the worst.... He has been doing the same thing with pressure, tho I have been known to deliver early so he might be here any day now since I am 35 weeks.....n thank goodness....The doc said he is already about 6lbs n about 17in long!!

I'm 36 weeks today and have been having that pain on and off since around 5-6 months. I don't have the biggest hips (this is my second child) and I put it down to my hips having to expand causing pain in all of the surrounding muscles. I seriously don't think you have anything to worry about. My entire pregnancy has been normal, even though every now and then I walk kinda funny!! :-)

I had that with my first, I was carrying him really low, but this one is high and I still have it, but not as bad. I go to the chiropractor and they said it was just pressure on the pubic bone. If you look up a picture of a woman's pelvis, it makes perfect sense - the pubic bone is a big circle that the baby goes through (and sits right on if low like that!!) and in the front (if I remember right) actually has a gap, probably so it can expand a little if necessary, but for me it always felt like it rubbed together and pinched with my first. That might be what you are feeling. Sometimes you feel the pain in slightly different areas than where the problem really is, nerves can be weird, so maybe that is why you feel it in your crotch. :)

I have the same feeling. my doctor checked me also for dialation but said my son is low but didnt seem to concerned. I didn't have any feeling like this with my daughter. Congrats on your little one.

Yes I have this same problem> This is also my second. I have a daughter and this one is a boy, and its alot harder carring this one then it was with my daughter. The "achy, heavy" feeling in what I call my "who who" is where the baby has dropped and is putting alot of pressure down there. I am 34 weeks and my Dr also checked me to see if I was dilated because of this but said that with you second pregnancy we tend to feel more because our muscles and ligaments are stretched somewhat from the first pregnancy,,,,does that make any sense LOL!! and yes it does feel like the baby could fall right out my husband laughs and says I walk like I have pooped in my pants because of it. Just hang in there, we are almost done!! congrats on you soon to be bundle of joy!!

That sounds just like me right now.I am also 35 weeks and it hurts right about the same spot.Sometimes almost a burning sensation.My son is right on top of my bladder and my cervix.I tell my husband it feels like I have a little chicken in there trying to peck his way out.This is also my second child and I had a c-section with the first one.Not sure what causes the pain maybe streching our maybe just our babies have big heads.lol!

I am getting the same pains too. My OB told me it was my pelvis remembering what it needs to do sooner than it did for you first baby, and the pains will likely be there until baby comes. My pains only happen when I am lying down, and trying to turn over in bed.

i was wondering the same thing! lol i keep getting a sharp stabbing pain when i am standing or walking where i am assuming is my cervix area on the inside, and tonnes of pressure! im going to be 34 weeks tomorrow and i am measuring big, at 31 weeks the ultrasound guessed the baby to be 4 lb 14 oz so im just thinging its because the baby is so big! i keep thinging im about to go into labour any minute ..lol
