Baby finally dropped at 36 weeks! I know thats no real marker for labor but was curious when everyone else dropped and how long it took for you to have your babies!?



Ive been having the sharp stabbing pains and intense pressure on my pelvic bone and cervix as well! Went in to the ER the other night bc the pressure was so great that i had to hold on to something (even though i knew it wasnt a real contraction)! The nurse said everything was fine and that i "wasnt really dilated" (still not sure what exactly that means but whatever!) I know a lot has to do with her position being more on top of my pelvic bone, etc... but the very next night she dropped even further!



With my first baby, i had contractions start at 35 weeks and was 2 cm dilated that entire time. she still came out 3 days late! I hate this waiting game!

we decided to go with a planned section because i had one with me twins, so for me i guess i know when the end is for sure..... if i dont go before that is. so for me the most i have to go is 11 more days, baby peyton will be here by june 14 and we cant wait!

I AGREE MY FIRST I WAS DIALATED 1CM AND HAVING CONTRACTIONS FOR 9 WKS NVR CHANGED AND SHE ENDED UP BEING 18 DAYS LATE... WITH AND ENDUCTION @ THAT POINT OF CORSE... SO YA... IM HATING THE WAITING GAME AS WELL... IM READY FOR MY BIG BOY TO BE HERE NOW... I GOT 20 MORE DAYS... AND IM COUNTING LOL

i know it... just seeing what others went through! both my dr and i were convinced my first baby would come early and she was still late! just frustrating bc i dont go back to my dr until the 6th and im so sick of getting vague answers from them! when i go in and get checked i want actual numbers not "not really..." crap! lol hubby is still in the field for a little bit so im holding off anything that might trigger more braxton hicks or anything else until hes back..then its on full force! its going to be his dream come true! LOL

everyone is different. my baby never dropped but she came early. the dilation is pretty much key. just hang in there, eat some pineapple (lol idk if that works but i did!) and reassure yourself that when baby is ready, you will be. :] good luck!
