Well, we just got back from our first appointment, and everything went well!
Chessa is 25lbs, and about 30in long now, and in the 95th-98th percentile for everything. The hubby pointed out that she's almost half of how tall he is! (He's 6'1", once DD hits 36in, she'll be 3ft tall!) Everything with Chessa is great, she's learning well, and doesn't have any medical issues at all. We have definitely, truly been blessed (I also don't have many medical issues, and never have...so I'm thankful that Chessa is taking after me!)
Anyways, the new baby is almost 7weeks along (on thursday), and our nurse AND our doctor were both shocked to see me back in so soon! I had my IUD taken out September 7th...so needless to say, my new nickname is fertile myrtle. Haha. I feel kinda bad though, cause our dr's nurse is trying for another baby now too, and she's not having any luck =(
Our dr just basically went over all the basics, that we've been through once already. Nothing new Our next appointment is November 23rd, and I'm hoping we get to hear the heart beat(s) at that appointment (I also get to have a pap at that appointment...joy of joys! =/ ), and we will have our first ultrasound at around 18 to 20 weeks (end of January) to check up on him/her/them
Just thought I'd share how everything went! Hope everyone else is having a great first trimester! (despite the morning sickness, crampiness, etc etc! )
