Still going strong here, Charlie was born 6/24 - will wean when he's ready. I nursed my oldest 22 months and it was an easy wean. I am thankful that I still nurse when he gets the occasional cold, teething issues or anything else that causes him to not want solid food...

I'm still nursing my 4th son (13 months old). I did wean him at night at the beginning of June to help him sleep through the night. I plan to wean him around 2 (all of my kids weaned around this age). It's definitely a personal decision!

I nursed my son until 11 1/2 months. I would have continued if he had wanted to but he suddenly started biting me constantly. I'm pretty sure he was over it...

I just had to quit nursing here in the last couple of weeks. I'm kind of sad about it (my daughter lost weight and wasn't growing any taller), but then again it is so nice to just hand her a bottle and carry on doing whatever I was doing. The doctor wanted me to supplement with formula, and once I did that my supply just dried right up.

My little one will be 11 months on the 3rd n I nurse her morning and night. My supply went down but it was no surprise it happened with my first kid too. They want more table food than to be nursed. But Im undecided on when to stop... I stopped with my first one a week before she was 1 and that was her doing so we'll see what happens with this one.

I say go as long as you can. I had to stop a little after seven months, when I went back to work. I couldn't keep up with the pumping and ended up losing my supply. I managed to nurse my older son until 11 months, when my milk suddenly dried up. I would have nursed both of them longer, if I could have.

I am still breastfeeding and Gregory will be 10 months the 22nd. I talked with my LC and she said she breastfed till her daughter was 18 months. I was planning on stopping at 1, but I may just go till he is 2. He doesn't know how to suck out of a bottle and he isn't fond of a sippy, so why force him. I would say whatever makes you feel comfortable and don't let others pressure you into stopping. The national age is 5 just for a reference.
