When do I stop giving my son formula? I know you *can* give them milk at age one. But is it bad to keep giving them formula? Is it bad not to? Confused.

I also BF my daughter until 14months (with food introduced at 6mths). I gave her whole milk at around 11/12months to replace the feeds she missed as i weaned her. So by 14months she was off the breast and on cows milk, and has never had formula. I don't think its bad to keep them on formula its just a personal preference. I think cows milk would be much cheaper tho and easier - no mixing the formula up just pouring it out of the bottle. Just do what you feel is right for you and your son.

I EBF my little guy and at around 13 months my supply was not enough to keep him satisfied so I gave him formula for a few months (because of the extra vitamins) and then decided to just go to whole milk after a few months
