Finding Out Gender

Just thought I'd update you. I'm having a boy!!! My eldest (son) is thrilled and my daughter was enthralled by the idea of a baby just like her cousin (who is a bouncing 3 month old boy) :) Even daddy is happy!

I have a little boy who turns 4 in june, I found out I'm having a girl I'm excited cause I always wanted a boy in a girl so I love to shop and I have been going crazy doing so!

I wanted to know both times. I'm curious by nature and it was important for me to know the sex to prepare myself mentally for motherhood. After all a human being is either male or female and the baby was just a neutral "thing" until I knew the sex then "it" became a real person to me.

We have two girls, and found out on friday that our 3rd and final child is a boy!- and we couldn't be happier. We chose to find out with all 3 pregnancies, it helped us to organise colours for clothes, accessories, toys etc! Also made choosing names allot easier! ....so now out with the pink, & in with the blue~ Yipeee! I hope you get your lil man too!

We weren't originally going to find out what we were having this time as its baby 3 and already have one of each, but by the time it came to having my scan we were still in two minds so the sonographer suggested that she show us the area and we could take a guess. We found out that we are having another baby boy =D I am thrilled, I would have been thrilled either way but as this will probably be our last it means we will have one lil princess and two lil men which is fantastic =D x

I have 2 girls. I found out at 18 weeks that we are pregnant with a boy! I am 21 weeks today.

I'm due Sept 27th (which makes me 19 weeks today yey!) with bubs #3. I got married to my kids' Dad just over a week ago so I only just got around to booking my scan. We ARE going to find out the gender (on Friday the 13th eeek). I have a boy who is 5yrs9m(ADHD) and a daughter who is 2yrs9m. So we're hoping for "healthy" (tho I think Daddy would like to have another princess).
We have found out with both because of several reasons - I'm not good with surprises and I feel that getting to know another piece of my heart is enough for me. I also like to plan ahead for most thigs so being able to decorate, buy clothes (or drag out the storage box) and narrow down the name choices is a big stress releif for me. My mother in law doesn't want to know so we won't be telling her or showing her photos that give the game away. Bubs will also be having to share a room with one of my other children after a few months so I will have to be organising that space.
Mostly it's just not necessary but it makes things easier and nicer for me and mine. Alot of people got by without knowing before scans came along so it's simply a personal choice as you can have this scan and ask not to be told the gender. Good luck hun!

I got to find out at 15 weeks and it was very definately a boy! Very excited since I have 3 girls!I am having another US in two weeks for more pics.

We found out yesterday that we are going to have a baby girl!! I am a little nervous but maybey its because I have to buy all new things. ;)

We have a daughter, Shayla, who will be four when this baby arrives . Our scan is booked for the 15th and we will hopefully find out what we're having. We had a surprise with Shayla and I loved it and I didn't want to find out with any of our children but my hubby and my daughter both really want to know! We'll need a few months to talk Shayla around if we're having a boy because she is determined to "send it back if it's not a sister!"

i have 2 girls already and definetly goin to find out the sex of this bubs my scan is 2nd may and i cant wait i have a very strong feeling this one is a boy dont think i could hold out till my due date to find out it would drive me crazy and i want to go shopping if it is a boy so i can by different colours other than pink haha....fingers crossed

We are choosing to not find out this time around, much to the chagrin of all our friends and family! We have a son now and we are hoping for a girl. But I feel like it's another boy - especially cause we cant find/agree on a boy name like last time - we had a girl name picked out and everything..

hi ya yh i am goin to find out with my baby as i already have a little boy who will be 3 yeard old 2 days after my baby is due lol i only found out with my first bay coz my grandad was ill n wanted to know but am deffo gunna ifnd out on the 4th may beacuse i dont want to buy any clothes ect till i find out wot im havin im hopin for a little girl this time then i will have one of each lol x

I just had my sonogram last thursday and i was 15weeks and 4 or 5 days, the baby was pretty good size so they said they should be able to tell, but the baby would not move! It was laying with its back facing my head and its head facing my feet so its privates were well hidden from us. we kept trying to get it to move but it was just not happening, its a stubborn little baby. Oh well, i found out i have placenta previa. so i'll be having more sonograms now, so im sure eventually i'll find out what it is.

My appt is April 7 and I'll only be about 16 weeks so I'm not sure if they'll be able to tell. But, I'm doing things a little differenly: I'm not finding out the day of the ultrasound, but the rest of my family is. We already have two boys and I really want this one to be a girl, as this will be our last child. I'm not finding out the sex until the baby shower, which we plan on having 2 weeks prior to the due date. That way, if it is another boy, I don't have very long to be disappointed. This means I really have to rely on family and friends to not only keep their mouths shut (LOL!) but to be buying what the baby will need. I will have two different nursery sets picked out for them to choose from.

Yeah and I suppose that's how most of our parents did it, they didn't know. which is my moms big arguement now, she's like we didn't know with any of you it was always a suprise. Well now a days everything seems geared towards a girl or a boy... I find it very difficult to stock up on baby clothes and decorate a nursery if you don't know what your having because who now a days has the money to wait till after they have the baby to do all the shopping? That's what the 9 months are for, getting prepared!! Im not against it, just think it would be a pain to not know.

I have a sono this thursday, I know it's possible to tell So im crossing my fingers that we will know thur. But if not we go back in April for the big one, but we are def finding out. I really didn't care at first since I have one of each... but I found shopping for nutural stuff next to impossible! So were finding out. Hubby and grandparents are hoping for a boy. We will see.

I had a scan yesterday, I am 15 weeks, and we are pretty sure it's a boy :) Tech wasn't 100% because everything is still so little and it could have been swollen labia. I have another scan in 2 days and hoping it may be clearer this time.
