from the time i went into labour until my lil girl was born was 6.5 hours. Charlee-Anne was born at 7:29 pm on Dec.1/07.. she weighed 6 lbs 8oz and was 4 weeks early. Labour was good, all natural no meds even though they tried to talk me into an epidural and next thing they know was that i was too far along for one and i was ready to push. We were both in the hospital for a week because the lil angel didnt want to eat and developed jaundice fairly bad and i had somehow broke out with mono in the hospital. Recovery was a bit slow but labour was fine and planning on doing it again, any day now we are expecting our second lil girl!

I've heard...and im sure its differant for everyone...but ive heard that the second delivery is much easier....dont know if this is true!! But even if its not I definatly plan on having another baby, its soo worth the pain and the sleep deprivation....:)

heyy my daughter was 6 lbs 6 oz i had a good delivery..i had an epideral ..my water broke earli in the mornin but i wasnt in labor wen i got to the hospital i was only 3cm they induced me..then i got the epideral cuz i was in painn! those contractions were comin on strong woo..but i went to the hospital at around 5 530 am n i had my daughter at  1:14 pm i hope wen im ready to have another i have such a easy delivery!! n i wish the same too all of yous if yous havee more! =) oo n i stayed in the hospital for 2 days

I have 2 children My daughter is now 22 months and she weighted 7lbs 7oz. I had the epidural with her, I was in labour for 13 hours.I left the hospital 24 hours later....My Son is now 4 months weighting 8lbs 13oz at birth, i had him drug free. i was ready to go home 3 hours after i had him but then incountered some complecations. I lost over 900cc's of blood not exactly sure how much that is but the average person only looses between 300-400.

Adelyn was 6lbs 8 oz and I had her naturally. I stayed two nights mainly because I had her at 11.42 pm so leaving the next day didnt seem to have a point. I wanted the extra help.

My girls were 6 lbs and 2 oz each, i was in the hospital for 4 days. My labor for me was awful. i was schedule to have a C-section because i was already 38 weeks and the drs. dont wait more than that when they are twins. So i got to the hospital and i had an ultrasound done and both of the girls were head down, so my mother and my mother in-law wanted me to try normal delivery since it was better for the girls and myself. So we went along with their decision and after 10 hrs of being in labor, my dr. decided that we had to do a C-section because one of the girls heartbeat was slowing down every time i pushed. So i think it was awful because i should've just had a C-section since the beginning and i could had skipped all the pain and contractions (i know some people may say i wanted the easy way but when it comes to pain i try my best to avoid it .. lol).

wow ok so David was 6lbs. 12oz. and i was in labor for 32 hrs.then i was out the 2 days later.

With my first I was in labor for 7 hours, then I pushed for another 3........he was 7 lbs. 10 oz. and I was in the hospital for 3 days because of dangerously high blood pressure caused by pre-eclampsia. I was induced with my daughter and after being in labor for 4 hours I pushed twice and she was out :) She was 7 lbs. 6 oz. and I went home the next day.

My labor was something that I'll never forget. I woke up bleeding at 3am so we went to the hospital and said I was only 2 cms so they kept me a few hours and released us at 7am and told me to go to sleep. My labor then stalled the majority of that day. At 6pm that evening my labor started again. We were back to the hospital at 9pm when they said I was 4cm. I figured they'd admit me, but they didn't. They made me walk and all that stuff. Once the pain got worse I asked for something so they gave me a shot of something in my leg. Then after more monitoring they sent me home again at 3am. I was in pain and throwing up a lot. We were back at 5am b/c I was in so much pain I couldn't move. That time my dad went with us and said they weren't sending us home again. They admitted me that time at 6cm. I went from 6cm to having a baby in 2 hrs. There was no time for an epideral like I wanted. They had just enough time to put an IV in and put pain meds in before I was pushing. I pushed 3 times and had a baby girl 15 mins. after starting to push.

Savannah was 7lbs. 14 ounces and we came home 2 days after she was born. I didn't get any pain meds after the birth even though I needed stitches for tearing. I hope that when I have my next one that the labor isn't as bad lol :)

I was in labor for 18hrs at the hospital and 8hrs at home! But it only took me 30min to deliver Allison! As soon as she was out( I being a baby took the epidural) I told everyone in the delivery room that i could do it all over again! :) But i think i will wait a couple of years!!
Allison was born at 1:35AM weighing in at 6lbs15ounces! And thanks to the epidural i didnt really feel a thing!!

my baby girl Lillian was 9 lbs 7 oz. I was in labor for 21 hours and ended up having to have a cesarean delivery after two and a half looooonng hours of pushing to no avail. I dilated fully but she wasnt moving down the birthing canal. so, I ended up having to stay in the hospital for three days after my surgery. It wasnt ideal, but my baby arrived safe and sound and that is all that matters!!

my son was born 7lb 1oz and was a very long birth and i had painreilf and had to stay in over night. my second child my girl was a lot quick only couple of hours with no painreilf and went straight home she weighed 7lb 13oz.

My son was 7lb 9oz.  I did it all natural, I had a home birth and it was Amazing to be at home having the baby and after, just being able to be in my own bed and have all my stuff around me.  It was great.

lucy, this might make me sound ignorant and un informed but can you clarify what a ventouse delivery is?? and WOW thats a big baby!!!! good job!

My daughter was 8lb 4oz and I had an all natural drug free looong delivery.

I also got to leave the hospital almost immediately afterwards because I had taken no drugs and they didn't need to monitor the baby or myself.
