I'm from Spruce Grove (just outside Edmonton), Alberta, Canada. i grew up about 20 minutes from where I live now, and my daughter was born in the same hospital as me and my brother were. I like it here, even though yes its usually cold for a good 6-8 months out of the year. but the summers are nice (not cold, but not too too hot it gets around 25-30 Celcius)

hehe I think its so funny that people think Canada is so cold. It never gets below -5 where I live but i have still had people ask if i live in an igloo! seriously

There are some places in Canada ive lived that do get snow even in the summer though so i can see where people generalize lol
